I'm here when Shashi Kapoor and Tabassum, both left us. Shashi ji was a gentleman. He wasn't like other Kapoors and was invested in meaningful cinema. He had no scandals or rumours about extramarital affairs. I truly adore him. I wish the film industry could've given me more respect and appreciation. He took care of the Prithvi theatre. He was a family man. A simple hard-working man. Will miss him.

I had the fortune of seeing and speaking to him daily while going to school courtesy of his Makeup man being my building. Also had the fortune of meeting his Jeniffer with her son and daughter. Really miss the respectful gentleman may his soul be in Peace.

I had the opportunity to meet Shashi ji at Prithvi Theater along with my wife and daughter. He was on a wheel chair, sitting alone. Me, my wife and daughter went there and touched his feet. I went close to him and asked him, "How are you Shashi ji?" He just moved his hand in the gesture to tell me that he was OK. I was in tears to see a graceful, handsome hero in this condition.

Me too, I am his biggest fan. When I thought of him during his heyday and him on wheelchair, I just cannot believe what I saw. I always watch song videos with him in them and it breaks my heart everytime as to the extend he changed until he was most of the time on a wheelchair. I never thought, really, how this handsome debonair of a man, changed. Very very sad. He is the most handsome, most humble and the most genuine in his actions. No one is like him. Love him so much. Tabassum Ji, U are indeed very lucky to have been his acquaintance.
