Thor’s goatee and part of his costume as well as his personality (MCU and modern comics) was from the Ultimate comic no wonder they choose Chris hemsworth
I found myself agreeing with almost everything Jason said here. I loved the Ultimate comics, especially USM. I'll have to go back and read more of Ultimate X-Men and F4.
For me the most important thing about the Ultimate Universe is the fact that it proves that super hero customes can be cool (specially taking about the Ultimates/Avengers and X-Men). That's why many of those design ideas were used in movies.
I kind of agree with you about Miles being on his own but I also like the IDEA of Peter having a kind of protege. But having Miles in the main marvel universe does allow him to be overshadowed more easily.
@Scottish Spineret well as a story in itself it was really awful and killed off 99% cast for no damn reason just for bullshit also it felt mean spirited to kill off all of those characters who people like me grew attached to just to spice up your universe which is a terrible idea because frankly it was a big f-you for people like me who loved this universe and by doing this awful story it basically doomed the entire universe and made it unrecoverable, so no i am sorry i have to disagree here and say ultimatum was a huge mistake.
@Scottish Spineret well not exactly because that reboot wasn't really a reboot because it was only addressed in one book actually scratched that it was addressed in two books was al eyuing ultimate's which had the original og ultimate's comeback thanks to ultimate Reed Richards aka the maker however it looks bendis once again ignored that series and instead did his own sort of reboot that made no sense and basically felt like a lazy way to bring it back.
I loved the Ultimate Universe. I will read Ultimate FF and Ultimate X-Men next, because I just started reading the Ultimates, and I haven't read Ultimate Spider-man yet, even though I have every volume of the Comic.
Ultimatum was the event that had Magneto flood NY. Cataclysm involved Galactus from the 616 coming to the Ultimate universe. Good call on the timing of Ultimate Universe rebirth tho. 4 years instead of 5.
I am also a Huge Fan of Ultimate Spider-Man! I Love Ultimate Spider-Man! I grew up with Ultimate Spider-Man and I Definitely Love The Ultimate Symbiote Spider-Man Design
Also personally i agree with you one hundred percent because bringing miles morales in the main marvel universe was a terrible idea and still makes no sense to me what's so ever, because now miles morales spider-man has no purpose anymore which is sad because miles could work in the main universe if they say i don't like let peter parker and mary jane get remarried again have there three children mayday parker spider-girl annie may parker and benjy parker live together as a happy family and miles becomes peter's protege just like in batman beyond and boom problem solved everybody wins.
Tevya Smolka If they were going to have peter and miles were in the same universe, then should have peter move from fighting street level crime to fighting international level crime with SHIELD or Captain America. While Miles Morales takes his place in taking down street level crime in New york

I mean thought spiderman should join SHIElD because he would be able to be paid for doing heroic missions with captain america since peter has known to have financial problems. Maybe he should retire from SHIELD as a field agent and spiderman once his daughter is born and become a scientist for a SHIELD facility in New York. Thus he will be able to maintain a steady job, have time for his family, and mentor Miles morales without too much difficulty.
would be great if they rebooted this universe or DC finally did there version of it, but you can't get crap writers like James Tynion or Tim Seeley or Tom King or Kyle Higgins you definitely need newer writers and it has to be the best of the best & there all at Marvel, seriously would love to see Donny Cates on Batman & Justice League Chip Zdarsky on Superman & Flash Kelly Thompson on Wonder Woman & Green Arrow Al Ewing on Green Lantern(John Stewart) & Hawkwoman Saladin Ahmed on Aquaman(Jason Momoa) & Martian Manhunter(Both Titles written with the same creativity and Style he wrote Black Bolt with) start with those characters I listed for like 10 volumes that come out every year in Trade/Paperback form once or twice a year & then slowly expand the legacy characters, & on or close to the 10th volume each of them write a ending type story & if they want to leave they can or they can continue
We also got Josh Whedon Astonishing X-Men House of M Avengers disassembled Civil War yeah I agree with you for everybody I say that 21st century Marvel is garbage wrong
