To those saying I should have been attacking the boss and helping him out: The last thing I wanted to do was start juggling aggro and get killed by some of the insano bullshit attacks in phase 2. The man said "let me", and I listened!
fr tho ive tried to help people out and as much as i commend them for trying to join the fight, if they just end up dying then i end up being sent away and cant help!
Looks like the last thing you really wanted to do was change that build. 5 hours in and you don't even change the dragon cult boosting helmet when you didn't even use an incantation? Last thing you wanted to do was make it easier
It's an old dirty strat every souls veteran has, and for the record one I employed on radahn too so no finger wagging from me. The bloody forks that the ogres drop can do the same minus rot application but in return you get S scaling arcane with occult infusion which bleeds/poisons radahn almost instantly.
@@Tulip_bip Her lifesteal mechanic counters it a bit but still you can pretty much block and out damage her healing with bleed infused thrusting weapons.
"I can't believe he let me finish the DLC" I love how he says "let me" as if his approval is a prerequisite for completion. You must earn his blessing for he is the God of Stone
Yeah I saw a guy named let me solo him outside of fire giant and he soloed a 3 summon fire giant by himself. Took like 20 minutes but dude was a beast!
My honest reaction when some triggered Redditor says get good Why would I ever bother with that when I can just destroy any boss on NG+7 with a strong enough build? Its easier, faster and requires less attempts and less stress ☺️ I will get good exactly when I want to! You cant do anything about that!
@@cfl_finn4831 I mean you play the game however you want and nobody should stop you but like chap literally who asked you to write this here, how does any of what you just said relate to the original comment or the reply thread
you got the remembrance of a god and a lord and you got to witness a god and a lord, thats a two package deal right there. Radahn was cool too, I guess.
@@jackplisken4738 Nah, all you need is a shield and a poke weapon. Putting on heavier armor, defensive talismans or using scholar shield spell is optional, it just makes it even easier. If you want to beat the boss 'legit' without shield, good for you. Personally, i'm gonna use a shield until they - hopefully - improve performance.. did every other boss without shield but I drop to 15 fps on p2 radahn, that's just not playable haha
“Yeah.. the shield just works against him… 😂” As if it’s not purely this man’s spirit blocking every shot as he pierces away. Remembrance of the Tank acquired.
I ran into this guy last night, absolute legend. I didn't notice his name until I saw him absolutely eating everything that was thrown at him. Absolute hero.
I shit you not, I summoned him once. Died to boss's second phase bs beams attack, but the guy was holding like the real one. Wish I could meet him again

That was incredibly cinematic. First of all, just seeing the epic violence of those moves from a distance gives me new appreciation for them. But seeing that little dude standing strong against them just poking his heart out had such a heroic vibe that it almost choked me up ngl
Pretty much the go to, I'm helping dozens with this boss by just standing and breaking him on my shield. Or watching the host die in the third phase after running in the back doing nothing for 30 min.
@@madleap1364 I am cursed today, out of 30 odd goes, only TWO have survived the meteor, and that's only because they were near me to get an uplifting aromatic bubble... and they STILL got hit.
Yeah imagine you need the last boss of a DLC to finaly teach people to dodge instead of steamrolling them with a Bleed build or then having a summon do the work for them Radahn is the first boss in the game I encountered who I could not just defeat with OP equipment
This guy actually did Radahn for me too. After the heroic act, I created a new character from scratch with the same build as him. I will never forget this legend. The Let me Tank him legend will continue trough my bloodline.
@@RustedBuddy5192 Can you imagine an mmo styled after Dark Souls/Elden Ring? The "Let us Raid them" guild, made up of only legends like LMSH and LMTH. That'd be epic to witness.
He said let me tank him not let me solo him bruh, help the dude Edit: Imo if you're a decent enough player you can fight while letting the guy tank majority of everything, but you know if it's actually detrimental to the run then I guess letting him do his thing should be good enough I suppose.
@@naodes1 that’s what I always have to deal with when I get summoned for a boss that I know better than my own family and the host is wearing the white mask with RoB and only has 1200 hp and doesn’t know when to back the fuck off.

@uzumerr414 verdigris armor, black knight greatshield with barricade shield AOW, Partisan with bleed affinity or Antspur rapier with bleed affinity. 60 vigor, 70 endurance, 30 faith, the rest in strength and mind. Shabriri's Woe, greatshield talisman, dragoncrest greatshield talisman (swap for element of choice in other fights) Erdtree's favor +2. Black flame protection and golden vow. Opaline hardtear and Crimson bubbletear.
Hi, this is most likely my run. I recognized it from the name being all lowercase, the build (seppuku antspear, moore's stuff, and demi human staff) and from a few things that happen throughout. Notably, I get hit at the start by his aoe (which I recall being oddly convenient as I heal seppuku most of the time anyway), and I get crammed into the corner where I barely get off a great rune use (about 2/3 in). I'm running practically the same build right now, with the exception of proccing divine fortification with the clawmark seal at the start of phase 2 (which, like demi human, I run simply for the low stat requirement). Talismans are as follows: pearl shield/viridian amber +2/ greatshield/gold braid. The new enhanced turtle one is def the play over va +2 but as of writing this I have just been too lazy to go get it. I am playing on a level 188 char in ng+ (which I don't know if that rlly changes anything beside rune drops). The stats aren't really important except for endurance, which I keep at 90 so I can med roll (without great jar) and get higher stamina. While I have seen a bunch of people with the name while doing helps, I haven't encountered anybody else with all lowercase. If you summoned (on pc) somebody who matches the above description there's a good chance it was me. I'm also going to keep doing runs with the above build for the next couple days (or until I get burned out) so you might see me then. I never really intended to post any gameplay because it is definitely a lot less engaging than for let me solo her (and pretty accessible without much explanation), though once I hit some milestone of players helped I will post the footage of the last run to get there. I'm using rune arcs to count and am currently at 58 clears with 4.9 mil runes from it.
This dude helped me with my first clear of the dlc and was such a chad. Bro walked in and face tanked everything. After a while I realized he was gonna kill the boss without my help so I just sat down and watched in awe.
Fingerprint shield is even better for him tbh. Cancer boss needs cheese solution. The real heroes are the parry gods who parry Radahn to death in 3 minutes and the perfumers who do 9k damage a second with rolling sparks.
It's not a cancer boss It's not a cheese solution Elden ring and all dark souls games are RPG's, based upon the mechanics of dungeons and dragons. It's rock paper scissors. Use your rock to beat scissors or paper will get you.
@@danielmontilla1197 ...you do know that when Ringed City released, people were raging about Gael and Midir the exact same way they're raging about SOTE bosses now, right? It's easy to find Reddit posts of people claiming Gael has too much health, barely ever lets you attack, etc.
I've seen a few funnily named players, me and a couple of friends kept getting ' Mother Dearest ' someone that seems to be a Faith/Str supp build? She kept on using a buff and healing on us and once one of us died. She did one of those frenzy shrieks and went wild with madness inducing attacks. Its obvious roleplay but this was funny to see the switch!
More people should hear and know more about Let Me Tank Him, a new legend was born because of this DLC, spread the word far and wide through the whole community quick..
Damn bro you played so well there. The way you chugged that flask from afar was masterful. You deserved that win. What a finish to the dlc, you should be proud.
I saw this guy when I was fighting this boss. Never could get him to summon, but there was another guy named let me solo him and he was doing good until I got one shot out of nowhere.
I've been tempted to call myself "Let Me Skin Him" when fighting Gaius I'm not skilled to no-hit, but I've been helping many players out of pure spite for this boss
