Critical Role's first campaign has made its way to Amazon Prime Video in the new adult animated series, The Legend of Vox Machina. This Everything You Need to Know Video is brought to you by Amazon Original, The Legend of Vox Machina.
Based on the second arc of Campaign One (The Briarwood Arc) of Critical Role's first livestream , The Legend of Vox Machina brings together the cast and creators of Critical role for 12 episodes for its first season on Prime Video.
The story originated with the eight voice actors of Critical Role, Laura Bailey (The Last of Us: Part II), Taliesin Jaffe (Final Fantasy XIV), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us), Liam O'Brien (Star Wars: The Bad Batch), Matthew Mercer (Overwatch), Marisha Ray (Final Fantasy XV), Sam Riegel (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Travis Willingham (Marvel's Avengers), and their time playing Dungeons and Dragons (DnD), a fantasy tabletop role playing game (RPG).

Vox Machina is nothing like Invincible . Invincible has censored nudity while On Vox machina doesnt . Invincible show is like made for “gore ok , nudity bad” fans . So Vox machina is better then Invincible

Still blows my mind that they took a TTRPG campaign with hundreds of hours of content and managed to condense the first major story arc into a neat single season without missing what made it so fun and special to watch. Can’t wait for season 3.

The shows brilliant and the team from Critical Role do an absolutely fantastic job along with all the amazing actors they brought in to voice other characters. Definitely give it a go if you like fantasy, D&D and hilarious adult humour

There is an Artificer named Tary that shows up later, but Percy is actually a fighter with a homebrew subclass called gunslinger.

Because that's what the players wanted to play as when they first started over a decade ago for their home game. These characters were already made years before CR decided to livestream. In fact if Liam O'Brien hadn't decided to play D&D for his birthday, this show would have never been made. It's basically a birthday gift that keeps on giving even decades later.

3/7 is not "most", but Half-elves are the most popular race these days. The "gnome guy" is The Bard Archetype Incarnate. He is "like" every other bard character you could think of; he is all of them rolled into one immaculate, cubic package.

He is multiclassing, started out a fighter with a home-brewed subclass (they originally played pathfinder which has a dedicated gunslinger class) and later choose warlock to multiclass
