I get emotional when Matt becomes emotional, because I can hear, feel, understand his passion for DnD, creating worlds and far off fantastical places with your imagination. "such a saving grace in my life" Matt says, and I think people use words sometimes without appreciating the meaning and depth of it. "Saving" people is a real thing, there are folk alive today just because it was just a little easier to look forward to next Thursday than the alternative. "Grace".. that word is so much smaller to just think it means describing dexterous, confident purposeful physical movement, or just a positive quality of how to go through and deal with a situation. Grace is divine, it's huge, and it shouldn't be left to smallness, but that Matt used it with it's appropriateness that encompasses the cast, crew and community. What we do for each other is that grace. Less than 3 :)

I have recently discovered critical role and I loved the TV series of vox machina and now I'm just discovering the campaigns for the first time and they've helped me come with a story of my own I thoroughly enjoy the vox machina series and campaiqnd critical role and their immense talent and skill

Just like season 1, as a critter, I know the overarching story of the chroma concave arc but it's fun to see the changes and choices they make when it comes to telling it as a show. It's also just fun to see the story I already know and love come to life visually. Oh man I can't wait.

Just saying it now: Travis and Sam have mentioned wanting to do Live Action stuff with Exandria and I think ExU: Calamity is the perfect live action CR movie to make. The whole thing happens in a day and the cast COULD be famous people instead of VAs and effects wouldn't cost as much as doing a Show. (Even though I always pictured Ryan Gosling as Caleb Widogast from the art... The Nein HAVE to be animated.)

I think we all know the cliffhanger that season 2 is going to end on. Spoilers: Vex dying in Purvan Suul's tomb, either her dying from the trap, or Vax calling the Raven Queen right after that.

Mh, that was only, like, 6 episodes into the arc, they'd need a lot more than 2 seasons to cover the whole Chroma Conclave Arc at that pace. I think they might cut it in Westruun after Umbrasyl. Travis alluded to some Grog backstory and Matt said there's gonna be dragon fights, so I think we'll see at least Umbrasyl die. Maybe even Vorugal, since they alluded to the Feywild arc too and that was between those two.

The Chroma Conclave arc takes 44 episodes in the original campaign.

I think they can do the chroma conclave arc justice with 2 seasons. And then they can dedicate season 4, and maybe 5, to the vecna arc. Or the whispering one as he's referred to for copyright sake

have to say, as much as i like c1 and the series has been very good, i still think that there is an even better story in c2 to be totally honest. if they do s3 of c1 and it end more or less at episodes 85-100 i think that is safe to assume that they would end c1 in an eventual s4. then you can actually animate the "search for..." episodes and do c2, which is easily another 4 seasons.

This is a TLOVM panel, and there are quite a few fans of the animated show who have either never watched the streamed campaigns or only parts of them - and not necessarily C1. (This is a good thing! We WANT the show to appeal to new viewers (too)!)

Critical Role has been on my radar, but the amount of content was too daunting for me at a time I was too busy. so when campaign 3 started, that was when I dove in head first. At some point I expect to go back and watch the brilliance that I've heard is Campaign 2, but I actually want to experience campaign 1 as much as I can through the show.

Remember when they (assumably) paid those millions out to their employees, animators, business partners, and whomever else helped them bring the series to us? They needed money for a 3-episode movie, got enough for a 12-episode series plus some. We got Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y back. Now there's going to be 2 more seasons. Bills need to be paid. Welcome to capitalism.
