I just can't wait to finally see it, and rewatch rewatch rewatch. I am so intrigued to see what they changed from the campaign to screen. I just love these people, my biggest dream is to meet them.

There are two possibilities. I'm hoping it's the first, but I'm afraid it's the 2nd. My ideal season 3 would be Whitestone for episode 1, Draconia for the next 3, Whitestone for 2, the Hells for 3, then Marquet for 3 ending with Glintshore. I think if they try to do the entire rest of the CC arc, including Bard's Lament, it's going to be way too much for a 12 episode season.

@@juliataylor707 they're not going to try to wrap up the whole campaign. They're just going to finish the chroma conclave arc and hope for renewal.

@@jonathanhibberd9983From the trailer the timeline looks to be quite shuffled around (spoilers from that if you have avoided it): just going off the old or new gear the characters have across the different scenes they are definitely going to Marquet before Vorugal and Hell, but Glintshore might not immediately follow. There is Vorgugal stuff both before and after Hell. Finally there's multiple scenes implying they reach the Seige of Emon, and I doubt Glintshore would be after that. I get giving *that character* a bigger story relevance, but putting them higher than thr King Dragon in an arc about dragons seems like a bad call.

Glad to hear M9 is grittier/darker, that was the vibe. I just hope they make room in the narrative for all those goofy antics. The Mighty Nein were basically Cartoon Characters with Tragic Backstories.

The sneak peak animatic seemed pretty lighthearted, Jester acting overly dramatic and flirtatious when she was moments before running for her life, Fjord being swept up in the chaos and shrieking about spears as if he was jabbed by a toothpick... Maybe "darker" just means like 20% less of the immature humor that I know has turned some people away from LoVM haha

I just hear William say that there is a "different" format for Mighty Nine.... I really hope they don't do it like "Arcane" I really don't like that type of animation. I hope they stick with what is working. Although, maybe "format" is not what I think it is. 🙂

Arcane is top tier. No idea what you're on about. But no, different format means the whole dynamic is different. For one, VM is already together at the start and MN come together bit by bit. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't all meet until like 3 or 4 episodes in.

Format isn't animation, for what I saw in the released animatic for MN it will be the same animation style. Other than that, I know this is subject opinion, and nobody is wrong with subject opinions... But Arcane animations is probably the best stuff that we received in a looooong time in regards of animation, and you are subjectively wrong 😂 (edit: take it lightly, it's a joke, but fr, Arcane animation is technically impressive)
