I like the increase and decreasing price idea he mentioned is being implemented. It still allows fun to be had but helps with spamming so progress could be made. I like crowd control but boy can it be annoying sometimes when the runner is stuck for minutes trying to go 20 feet because death is cued 30 times. It’s like a joke going on too long. It’s only funny the first ten times they fail, the 20th time it’s just sad.

Yeah, for example the GTA San Andreas. That run was funny yes, but man was it cancer to see the same mission over and over because of bleed, kill player, car explodes, and so on. I'm all for it but the price increase is necessary for the runs to be able to explore what could happen in later areas of the run when the crowd does silly things, not just one spot. I really wanted to see what the bay blade modifier did to planes in that game.

Definitely need more restrictions on when and how people can trigger the progress-stopping commands. Make it so people can only use kill/freeze/pacifist commands once every 5 minutes individually, so person A can't just kill someone every 30 seconds for ten minutes. Hell, people should be blocked from repeating identical commands back to back, or within a short time.

True. they should make it so overused things are more and more over priced, while underused things should become cheaper and cheaper.

Yeah uh, definitely implement scaling prices on EVERYTHING. Spamming Iron Boots and item count reductions is silly at first but there gets to be a point that it just shuts down fun and progress.

To be honest, I wouldn't have mind those spam if AT LEAST chat was letting the player plays. There's a difference between trolling and simply not letting the player plays anymore while chat knows he had to do x or y part (like deleting his chu's just before Dodongo, or his rupees before the zora's mini game...) At some point it really felt like some person, I won't quote their username, was just venting their frustration or something at him =.=

@@AquarialDeloAtlantis The real question is whether banning Vapereonkun would have outweighed the money he was donating. You can make the argument the viewing expeirience was reduced and therefor less people donated but i find that hard to outweigh the donations. Pretty sure he killed him at least 4 times. I imagine it was not cheap to do a kill command.

Was it addressed why c down was bound to fast forward? It was strange that they were just acting like the game speeding up and sound messing up was normal. Good run though! Chat was brutal

How did the Hyrule gardens get skipped at around 12:30 ? Unless they explained it and I missed it.

the mod has an option to turn off the palace guards. I guess the crowd control can make it very difficult and/or take a lot of time.

I don't think they say anything in the video, but I'm guessing it's an option they turned off to save some time on the run considering its length.

It's a setting in randomizer to skip stealth sequence.

if I remember correctly the randomizer just dumps you at the end of the Zelda cutscene where you normally get the letter instead of having to go through the stealth section. There are probably some other convenience skips here and there that are more annoying than fun in a normal speedrun
