To save time on this you should've went on the spiral thingy that was just above his head, jump on his head and push the spike down :)

Skyward Sword has so much recycled content. 4 silent realms, 3 Girahim battles, and 3 imprisoned battles. All of which are the worst parts of the game.

I seriously have troubles landing on the imprisoned head...help?
