Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Boss: The Imprisoned Round 2 [HD]

I never noticed how many different versions of the song this boss had... There's normal, then a tenser version if he's climbing or sliding, and a lighter version when he's down. And Groose's theme is added while aiming the Groosenater XD

I bet the Imprison heard Groose say "Saved your tail" and went 'ahh, a tail... hehe'

This stuff scared me so freaking much when I was young. My heart was racing and even today, seeing this boss and all its trick really freaks me out.

This was by far the hardest version of him. I had to redo it like 4 times before I FINALLY won.

I'll be honest. The first time I fought The Imprisoned, I didn't even KNOW you could attack his feet.

that feel when your last 3 fights for the hylian sheild are the imprisoned fights... fuck me, right?

I must admit, around the start of the game. I really hated Groose as a character. But I'm gradually starting to respect him now that he's actually being helpful towards Link.

This is the battle where you learn to love Groose. Yes, he starts out as a bully and asshole but falling from the sky really helped him grow as a person.

I was stuck on him for God knows how long, months.... And it felt soooo good killing him....... And I thought dark souls made me stress

Albeit VERY annoying to face this guy. the 1st and 3rd versions were easy. I have a lot of appreciation for the 2nd one. It shows you how strong the monster can be after you yourself got stronger, and comes back with shockwaves in EVERY STEP that hurts. It really gives you the vibe to hurry up and defeat it, especially when it gets intense and mixes in with groose's theme. It was enjoyable.

This is the most difficult out of all the Imprisoned rounds. You need to do the NO DAMAGE RUN, just what I did yesterday, but had issues at the end.

This shit is more annoying than the goblin on the boar in twilight princess

it took me 7 mins for the first one, 35 mins on the second one and one and a half days for the third one.

Man im trying the thunder dragons quest for hylian shield on hero mode. and its this crappy boss that kills me everytime...

Never thought of running above and jumping onto his head from an upper level, - I've used the super-geyser sky dive method to get up there though...

Good video, I didn't realise you could use Groose to slow that thing down, I was only using the cannon when he was climbing the wall, it might be easier too if you take the toes out first, then the back heel to make sure you're behind it when it falls, you can even use you arrow to shoot the heel. I think you wasted some time trying to jump on his head, unless you was tea bagging it :)

WTF! Everytime I fight this thing, I get him to the ground but his arms are in the way so I can't get to his head :(

After i tried this for the first time, i got so frustrated that i refused to continue the game. Now i'm just flying around and doing sidequests.

Man, that was seriously too close. Pretty damn exciting~

i love how grosse acted like an as§hole all the time but when link had to deal with the imprisoned he assisted you in thw battle with is catapult

Aha! I finally managed to defeat the Imprisoned round 2! Yay! So relieved. On my first try this morning (sixth try overall) too. :D I'm gonna do some side quests now. Relax a little. lol

I had such a hard time this time around on the imprisoned but I discovered a stratgey that worked for me and the 5th time was the charm! lol

No you don't get heart containers for Ghiraim Round 3 nor Demise. You can have the full 20 hearts (assuming you carry the two life medals with you) well before those fights. As such: You start off with 6 hearts, you can have 2 more with the life medals, you can earn another 6 hearts by collecting all of the heart pieces, and the rest you get from boss fights in the 6 main dungeons.

He's easy to kill. A bit scary after the last round, but easy. He's just really annoying and I got tired of him appearing whenever I just wanted to visit Groose. Thankfully I'm done with him and he won't appear until the nearing end of the game

My problem is that I never hit the sealing spike right. My sword just glances off it.

I seriously though this boss was easy when I played against him, hero mode included. I wonder what is the problem. O.o

End of round: Hero Mode? Must have gotten 1 big hit to 9 hearts.

I can't even get close without those dumb wave things getting me it's so annoying Edit:you can jump on it's head using the middle gust of wind and hammer the seal in. Afterwards it'll start flying. Do it again with the middle gust, afterwards just catapult yourself onto it's head to finish the job. Going for the toes is by far the absolute hardest way to go about this monster. I found this out by mistake, I used the middle gust by accident and landed on a ledge above it, dude was ready for a bomb so I used it and planned to jump down after the toes to accidentally land on it's head. I smashed the seal into him and it started phase two I decided to use the middle gust again and landed on it's head. Did it again then Dumby Bravo on the catapult was like "oh no, there is no access to the bombs" called me up there and Link's inactive butt decided to get winded last second and costed me everything. I did it again and got it but seriously Link work on your cardio. Lives are in danger and your slugging around like a zombie just because you have to catch your breath. I've seen people jog while they're winded just fine. Moral of the story, Link is a selfish prick. "Oh my chest hurts and my vision is blurry. I can't make it up this ramp." Oh wait it's Link talking so hus dialog is more like "..."

Wait a min you can actually jump on him and hit the thing? AND you can stun it with the bomb? I thought the bomb was only good for stopping it from climbing up.

ive already done all the imprisoned but can someone tell me why you dont get a full heart container from them and if you get one from ghridiam rd 3 and demise

I defeated Ghirahim round 2 in about 5 minutes, but the imprisoned round 2 has taken me 5 tries already and made me swear so much at the TV. Freaking annoying. I'll try again tomorrow when I've calmed down and think of a better strategy for myself.

This was the 8th battle in my quest to gain the Hylian shield, so fuck this boss in particular.

If Chuggaconroy did a let's play on this game, he'll definately mention about chopping toes.

@dragonjedi101 same here. i tried cutting toes the one time and he ended up getting to the temple

this boss was hell for me i could go through every other boss without much trouble but I actually had to try a couple times to get this right. he somehow always made it to the temple ._.

Sorry if you think i'm an asshole, but the thing is. I'm not a good zelda player at all, usually, i'm the one raging at the intense difficulty of stuff while others have no problems, but this was opposite. I don't even undetstand whats so hard about this, but looking at the raging, i'm glad i didn't have problems with it

if you want the hylian shield i recommend you to start with this boss, but yeah this is the most hated boss for me, this one and the one eye octopus, i even like to fight imprisoned 1 and 3 but fuck this one the most

I just got to round 7 on boss mode, beating both round 1 and 3 of the imprisoned, then lost on this round, so fucking annoying man i want that hylian shield!!

I was shaking so badly the wii remote fell out of my hands and I had a hard time picking it up, I'm too scared to face it again, just way too much tension and fear put into me. I hate this whale thing.

Why else would they put the steam that launches you upward... and when he's climbing his fingers are vulnerable. If you can't figure out how to kill such an easy boss then quit life I beat it in 2 minutes...

ya know this thing is never that scary. When you first see it your like oh sht that is one scar.... wait lmfao look at those stubby legs. Second time on my gawd he has ar......HA! those are so freaking huge-holds stomache from laughing- then the imprisoned freaking gave me game over about 4 times my laughter turned to rage at my unresponsive wii remote

There was nothing fun about this boss at all, for me anyway. Although I prefer pretty much every other Zelda game over this just because I hate motion controls, especially when Link doesn't seem to feel like swinging his sword as he gets trampled.
