The Tears of the Kingdom soundtrack stands out to me not just for its really well done ambience and great atmospheres but also the use of classical saxophone. I played the exact line on alto saxophone that is present in the original track in this arrangement. But the pieces The Sky: Prelude, Great Sky Island (Sky), Temple of Time (Sky) make really nice use of classical soprano, alto, tenor and bari saxophones. The only other soundtracks that I know of that use classical saxophone are the FFVII Dirge of Cerberus soundtrack by Masashi Hamauzu and the Atelier Ryza 3 soundtrack with a couple pieces by Kousuke Mizukami. I'd definitely be interested in hearing other examples if they exist.
Thanks a bunch to my collaborators who played on this arrangement!
