So this trailer made go and immediately track down the full doc on Dropout. The show is very sweet and Rick Perry is an interesting human but I wish that it was more like what the tweet asked for. I adore watching how makers create things, watching clever creative people problem solve is a real joy for me and the Documentary is far more interested in who Rick Perry is as a person. Which is interesting but not really what I was hoping for nor really a viable premise for an ongoing series which is likely why it is a one off. Here is to hoping that eventually they come back and give us a maker show.
