Fell in love with that saw first time I saw one , outside a laundromat in the rocky mountains , a beautiful blond girl working for the forestry service , tan Carhartts , flannel shirt pulled it from the back of her pick up, put in the front floor board . Wish I could say I got the girl or the saw , but alas it was not to be ! She sure was pretty , the saw that is !
I own a Stihl 044 with a 20" bar and had it for many years. I've cut down big dry trees with it, has good power. It cuts really well especially when I use chisel cut or sabre tooth chains. It's a good size chainsaw, it's a keeper 👍🇺🇸..

it reminds me of a early 90s 2 stroke 250 motocross bike. you have a vintage stihl small block v8 lol! great saw. put an oem zama kit in carb or sell it to me to add to my collection. great vid

Checked out your video quite some time ago. Saw runs fantastic! Sorry I never commented. I've bought a low hr super clean 10mm and have 3 or 4 project saws. Congrat's your saw runs great. Is that a Mahle or Kolbenschmidt cyl?

I just picked 1 up , 10mm for $100 great running, guess the guy did not know what he had , and i asked , only a $100 could not get the money out my pocket fast enough

Now I’m a climber and love the ms200ts And love my old 046 from 1994 But that 044 looks like a straight ripper !! I need to get my hands on one ! Wanna sell lol ?
