This is my review of the Lewitt Connect 6 audio interface.
I did buy this myself to use but it has problems so I had to send it back.
In the video I show the Connect 6 and its features and show the problems that need to be fixed before it will be usable for many people.
This is my first video for this new channel. I planed on making a different opening video but after buying the Lewitt Connect 6 audio interface and not being able to use to make the first video I was going to make. I made this video first to show the problems I had that slowed me down.
The opening and ending music was created by me

Hello Ed, I should have heeded your warning as a Mac user. To be honest, most of the problems that you were having didn't seem to be a problem for me since I am not using OBS. I picked one up and I really like it, but what might be the deal breaker for me is the device doesn't stay connected after I put my Mac Studio to sleep. So often I will play a video and it come barring through speakers instead of my headphones. Not good late at night. Then I have to unplug the device and let it power down and plug it back in before my Mac will recognize it. It is a fairly small thing but frustrates me enough that I will likely send it back. I am curious to know, have you or others had that problem with the device not being recognized by a Mac? I wrote to Lewitt and they are aware of the problem and say they are working on a firmware update but I didn't get the feeling that this would be coming out anytime soon. And my return window is 30 days so I doubt I will be sticking with it much longer.

Had these same problems. And when I attempted to explain this to them, it went poorly. When we finally got to the bottom of it, they blamed it on Riverside, which, OK, maybe Riverside should make it easier to take all of the routing, but uhh, no other interface or mixer has given me this issue. I try to keep an eye on updates because I wouldn’t mind giving it another try, but it seems to be a non priority.

I think at some point they will get it fixed. They told me they will send in a ticket to get it fixed so I guess they outsource the software and have to ask to have things fixed or updated. So they have no time line when it will be fixed. If it all worked I would have kept it and lived with the other bugs till that was fixed. The other interface I ordered has not arrived in yet looks like it is running late. It did not come in today tracking shows it just left Atlanta. Maybe tomarrow.

Good think I'm a drummer, I had to get 12 inputs. The headphones are actually outputs by the way.

Yes I used one of the headphone outs to send into one of my cameras as part of the testing.

I am using Caster from Ginger audio to be able to use all the audio now.

@@edzonedigitalmedia you could have used the loopback channel Wich is a virtual channel were all the audio is routed in. So , in your DAW, or OBS, de if you use Chanel 7/8 you will have everything synth, vocals...😉🤘

@@Mheyos 7/8 dose not show up in OBS to pick to use that the problem with Connect 6 none of the channels do only the mike 1 input..
