@@EdCollectsJust because someone isn't doing something doesn't mean they can't do it better than you. It just means they chose not to do it. Realistically, MANY other folks can do this better than you. Alternatively, MANY others are worse than you. You can't please all the people all the time. Also, emoji's show immaturity. Especially the way you use them. If you're so sensitive that you are going to respond to anyone who doesn't just love you, you are gonna have a tough time of it.
I've recently become a fan of Dream Weaver and couldn't think of a word for it. I thought perhaps haunting. I think ethereal is it. I had no idea he just passed recently. Rip Gary.
RIP💔 My love is alive is one of my favorites. Underrated musician…. So much talent leaving us….😢 Thanks as always for these clips Ed!👊🏻 There is the 3rd.
I like the songs that he released. I had no idea he was from my home state of New Jersey. And if three out of the four Beatles want you on their albums, you gotta be good.💁🏻♀️
Dream Weaver and My Love Is Alive. Wow, those songs were a part of my growing up and I still love them today. It feels like a Gary left a part of himself while taking a piece of me when he left. Gary, thank you and I'll see you on the other side. Garth
The first Concert I ever attended it was absolutely great. Gary put on a great show and I’ve been a big fan ever since. R.I.P. Gary you were Great!! 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
God Rest Your Soul mr. Gary Wright new music is always in my heart songs of touched my heart remind me of my wife who passed away I guess she can hang out with you now in the other worlds
GARY WRIGHT was a phenomenal artist!! I met him once when I worked for Columbia Records in 1981 when he walked into my office!! He was a beautiful person, and I was honored to meet him...RIP GARY WRIGHT!!
My favorite Spooky Tooth song is Waiting For The Wind and I have fond memories of Dream Weaver and My love is Alive and I was literally just playing them last week. Like Jimmy Buffett, I googled Gary early last week and didn't see that he wasn't well. All I know is that one of the hardest things about growing old is how those that brought you so much joy are sadly dropping like flies. Rest in Peace Gary, you were the king of the Keytar.
Gary Wright was one of the 70's leader of the funky sounds the Mini Moog synthesizer . He was a badass musician . I was a child in the 70's coming up in Detroit , My love is alive was one of my favorite songs .
He is an American Icon. I was a senior in high school, Seattle wa. My first girlfriend and going skiing at Snoqualmie pass. With Gary Wright playing Dream Weaver on the Radio. Awesome days. Thank you, Gary.
I was a Good Humor man in the ice cream truck in Cresskill. NJ. in 1969 the summer before College, going to Univ. of Bridgeport in Conneticut. Bergen County is so beautiful...great place to grow up. (River Vale )
Ed, you do such a great job highlighting many artists who are often overlooked or have been long forgotten. You give each artist the highest respect by sharing your love and knowledge of their accomplishments, which is why I'm subscribed to you because your interests and passions for these artists is truly deeper than others. You're cool, Ed!👍👍
Loved Gary Wright. He and his first wife were fabulous together. I did not know he had passed. Sooo sad.😢 R.I.P. Gary Wright. What are an incredible talant.
So sad that we finally lost "The Dream Weaver". - I used to deliver the Columbus Dispatch to that song on my Huffy Bike back in 1975! - "Good Times! - Great Memories!" - See you in Heaven Gary! :-)
I love you, Gary!!! xoxo I was able to stay with his family and work with Gary until his death that morning. A BEAUTIFUL person inside and out and his family.
Gary Wright, along with Yes and Peter Frampton made many 1976 concerts near our Bicentential super special and memorable for a lifetime. RIP Gary. BTW, I was there as a 10 year old.
Oh Gosh, love him! I saw him open up for yes & Frampton 76ish at Angel Stadium in Anaheim Cali...the band (& everyone was completely mesmerized by the strong synth bass attack beats from 'my love is alive' . When the notes were struck hard and loud they bounced back from upper stadium walls and uniquely fed back into the sound system to the utter amazement & delight of everyone...including me trippin balls off. Lol...r.i.p. Sir Gary
I was lucky enough to see Gary Wright 1976 @ the Celebrity theater PH, AZ on a stage that turned in circles, he was wearing all white jump suit type costume like you see to the left, RIP Gary thanks for the awesome concert.
EC, Gary Wright 😊 was My 1st Outdoor Concert in 1976. It was The YES / Peter Frampton Tour Gary Wright and Lynyrd Skynyrd we're The Opening Acts for that Memorible Concert Event For My Younger Self. Those Were The Days My Friend. RCJLEO🦁♌
MY DAUGHTER ,& MINE'S FABORITE SONG ! I lose my daughter to a Massive Heart attack,I hope he's singing to her in Heaven 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 RIP GARY WRIGHT & CAROL KARAJULLES.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If he gave up studying medicine for music, then we're lucky he followed his heart because I can't imagine a life in which I never heard "Your Love is Alive". I sure wish I was the one wearing that rectangular pendant he had on at the beginning of the video.
Lewy body dementia was the primary cause of Robin Williams' demise. SO SAD❗ Now you can REST IN PEACE GARY❗🙏🏼🛐❤️😢 THANKS ED, from MORRIS. ( Vascular dementia and PD diagnosee ) 👍🏼🙏🏼🛐❤️
