i start an essay by creating an outline for it. Like for each paragraph, I include everything im going to be talking bout in it, then expand when actually writing it.
I love this video, so inspiring how you manage to do so much work at the start of the day. I struggle with starting my essays especially when I put a lot of importance on them, so I like to label it 'my really crappy draft' this at least gets me to start and get a paragraph down and than I can go in and edit it.

I hope all went well with your essay! :) I am apsychology student from Germany and I know this assignment siutation so well! The struggle is real, especially as a perfectionist :/ I want to finish my assignment this week because I want to have enough time to improve it. I always set myself a specific dates where I force myself to write a certain part of the assignment even if I have no clue how to start and what to write. In the end the result is always better than I expected it to be and I have enough time to edit the assignment. I am looking forward to new study related content! :) (excuse possible faults, German is my mothertongue)

Hello, for the essay help follow a guideline and answer questions you might have or that the audience might have about the topic. Here is the guideline for one of the papers I am working on.... Section I. Background What is your topic? How is it defined? What are the prevalence rates and/or trends? Highlight any patterns that exist Section II. Theory, Purpose, and Practice What is the purpose behind the practice? Present both sides of the argument/debate Choose 1 or more theories that explain the issue at hand (sociological or criminological theory) Provide examples using case(s) from media Section III. Policy Why is it critical that we know more about the topic, what is the relevance? Is the practice/effort successful? Why or why not? Come up with policy implications (guidelines to resolve the issue) Hope this helps!!!
I can sooo relate to this video (the whole planning for an essay and writing it), mine is due tomorrow and omg I finally finished but honestly felt like u a few weeks ago, stay strong it will all fall into place xx (I found starting so hard, but tried out various different points in bullet points before actually writing it out -and see what works )
Trial and error in a way really helped specifically because it forced me to actually write something and then I got into this flow of just improving it
Hey Lady, I just found your vlogs and I'm enjoying them so far. In the first vlog I watched you mentioned that you are finishing up your dissertation for psychology. Congratulations! What area of psych. Are you studying and what area are you going for? You've made it so far! I'm a psych. Student too, and by the end of this year I'll have two associates. One in psych. And one in behavioral science. As for the essay, just take a break, and come back to it. I just had to present a hypothetical research project on the effects mindfulness meditation and exercise today. I had to read so many articles so I feel ya!
+Jennifer Phillips hi, I haven't finished my dissertation. It's not due till April so I'm only just beginning lol. Right now I'm studying autism spectrum disorder and eating behaviours. I'm not sure what field I want to work in and tbh I don't see myself doing psychology but I'll get into that in another video. And thank you so much for the advice x
Gotcha. I hear getting into Phd programs for psych. are very hard, or at least the good ones are here in America. I'd love to hear more about what that process was like and what you would like to do in the field of autism. It's a field that interests me greatly as well! Good luck with everything! I really like your vlogs. You are such a nice person. Do you know what helps me when writing essays. I just start writing aome sentences that I need in my essay. I make the intro and conclusion at the end. You should start begin and then change it
