@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hcWhile my grandfather was not a celebrity, he was seven months shy of his 100th birthday when he died February 24, 2009. Sadly he passed last month on July 8, 2022 at the age of 99. It makes you wonder how many of the OG Hollywood gang are even still alive. Thanks for putting this together. They say you die twice in this life. The day you leave your body and the last time someone says your name. I never even knew who he was. I don’t like that so many people. Come and go in this life and we never get to know them. Now because of this video you have kept his name alive.

I've always liked Larry Storch. F Troop was a bit before my time, but I used to watch him on The Ghostbusters when I was a kid. It was the perfect combination of funny and scary, at least it was when I was seven. The show had good ratings, but it's production company decided to focus on other programs they were making so they cancelled it after only one season, which is probably why few people have heard of it. Fun fact, or maybe just a regular fact, as you said, the three main characters were called Spencer, Tracy and Kong, but Tracy was the gorilla, while Kong was the name of Forrest Tucker's character. Anyway, it's nice to know that Larry is still alive and kicking at the age of 98. I hope he makes it past 100. Thanks for the cool video.

Great job. Can't get enough F-Troop. I am surprised that no one ever did a book on the show. When I was a kid in the 70s and into the 80s, every Sunday morning one of the local stations would play F-Troop at 11am and Abbot & Costello from 11:30-1:00 pm. No matter how many kids I heard outside my window playing in the street (yes, when I was a kid, we all played in the street) I would not go out until after 1:00pm because I had to watch those two shows. And it didn't matter how many times I saw them, which was many. I used to work somewhere in NYC that required membership and one of the members was named Storch (I forget his first name); I always used to wonder if he was related to Larry Storch. After all, both were from NYC and it is not a very common name.

@@johnlanelli3968 - Yes! The writers for FF were great. And as a kid, I loved hearing EEH narrating. I am sure the FF writers once played a trick on EEH because of EEH's accent: one line EEH had to recite in a FF episode included the words "Large Lodge" and I can't think of any reason to put those two words together unless it was to hear EEH struggle to make those two words sound different, as EEH normally would have pronounced both words the same : "Laahj, Laahj" Ha ha.

I love that you do these videos. I had totally forgotten about F Troop. My daughter loves the classic movies. Looks like I’ll be introducing her to Larry. I’m wondering if you could do a video on some of the actors on Soap????

I just saw Him on "I Dream Of Jeannie" playing the Human part of Sam the Chimpanzee who was supposed to go up in space, I LOVED IT! He is Hilarious in this! In fact I had not seen Jeannie in a long time, I forgot about how AWESOME the show is!!

Larry and Don Adams were also performing voices for Tennessee Tuxedo cartoons. Larry was Mr. Whoopee.

I happened to meet Mr. Storch. He was behind me in line at a supermarket in Burbank, my hometown and the entertainment capitol of the world. Seemed like a nice fellow.

Larry was also in an episode of Emergency. I loved both F Troop and Emergency as a small kid, I was about 5 or 6. I'm almost 60 (Nov 2021) and I still like the re-runs, not to make Larry or anyone else feel old! :-) Congrats to Larry! 98 years old, well that proves once and for all that laughter really is the best medicine!
