I love the fact that Luke isn't just evil cause he's evil

Luke is such a good antagonist, even if Kronos is the “villain” i consider the antagonist luke. You can understand his reasoning and his redemption is justified

Luke was always my favorite character throughout the PJ books. He was a relatable character. And no one can convince me other wise that this man was the most disturbed, distraught, and depressed character.

Alright, he's doing Percy Jackson now. Now can everyone shut up about the movies and focus on what we can enjoy and not alienate the rest of us?

His storyline is one of the best in the entire series. I hate how the films did him so dirty and didn't even begin to scratch the surface of his character.

Luke Kinda had a similar story ark to Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars

I felt back for Luke in the end he was just a person who was damaged and the only thing that kept him going was the thought of Annabeth and Thalia a little bit

7:01 kind of ironic the daughter of Zeus (the god who banged every woman who crossed his path even though he was prophesied to be overthrown by his son), being wiser than the daughter of Athena.

Believe me, I read the whole percy jackson series for the first time in just 5 days after I saw your previous video, and I loved it, thanks for introducing me to this series! Edit: to those who are replying, I just want to say that I am not boasting, I have a number of friends who can read way faster than I can, i am just mentioning the fact that the books were so good that I just couldnt stop reading them

Here me out, luke is definitely my favorite character out of all of ricks books. Hes such a great and complex character, and i wish more people will appreciate the series as a whole, and especially his character building and how great of a villain he was. Also, he is definitely one of the misunderstood trope

yo I read botl a year before the last one, and when Percy said “Well, it was kinda hard to not notice Mrs. O’Leary, because she was the size of a garbage truck” i thought he was referring to a teacher-

Titans Curse was my favorite book in the series because that book set the tone for the darker aspects of the series

Luke is one of my favorite characters from the series.

Luke’s story is truly a tragic one. One about abandonment and betrayal. With very little help, he still battled his enemies, whether they be physical or inside him. He wasn’t acknowledged as a hero until the very end, until it was too late.

The movies never really understood Luke, at least post-evil reveal. In the Sea of Monsters film he’s just this cliched stone-faced unrepentantly evil Bond villain. Luke was a really nuanced antagonist in the books. There’s one little detail from the Prophecy in The Lightning Thief that I think speaks volumes, ‘You will be betrayed by one who calls you friend’, I’m just going to let the fact that Luke considered Percy a friend in the first book just sorta well in your mind palace for a bit.

I just love the character of Luke. He is written as an protagonist at first, then an antagonist for the rest. But there are always moments when his good side is shown. Especially in the _Last Olympian_. I just couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards Luke in that book. Like there are multiple times when he is Kronos but remembers his original personality. I loved the scene where annabeth says" family Luke'

Luke reminds me of Loki from Marvel. Pretending to be on the good side in the beginning, then becoming the villain, and in the end, dying the hero(but Loki's still alive from Endgame).
