Correction note ; old B&W slow film stocks doesn't exist anymore. Cinematographer Jarin Blaschke asked Panavision for some help, and they reached out to Schneider to make a special filter to replicate the orthochromatic sensitometry of old B&W film stocks. That filter reduces the film sensitivity by a significant amount, hence he needed way more powerful lights, like it used to be before the mid 70's. 😉
