Lila. Lila is Manon. Or so they say. Miraculous Ladybug. We need more seasons cause the theories are already getting wacky. Imagine what it will look like a year from now... save our souls.
That false theory that Kagami is Marinett's time-traveling mother would be crazy for many reasons, but mainly it's because Sabine is Chinese and Kagami is Japanese.
Wow, that would make the theorizers really racist to think two Asian women are the same despite coming from two completely different countries. But the thing about Manon and Lila "having the same skin color" is very false. Lila is very white with green eyes, and Manon is dark-skinned with brown eyes. They look nothing alike. Anyone who has that as a reason for Lila being Manon from the future would have to be colorblind.
@@SeanWheeler100Lila wears green contacts her real eyes are brown, it was shown in season 6 and if you look at Lila's tone skin on Google it says "tan skin" and it's written the same for Manon Chamack
@@Hotgirlenergy So Lila wears contacts. Still doesn't explain her skin tone if she was Manon. It would get really controversial if it was revealed she used makeup to change her skin tone because that would remind people of blackface. Perhaps Manon had been tanning and stopped tanning before she went back in time and became Lila, but at that young age, tanning would not be healthy and would give her a risk of cancer. It would be better to reveal Manon's father as black to confirm that Manon's a mixed race that she looks like. And besides, the theorists connecting Manon and Lila with flowers is too much reaching and I doubt the animators were thinking of Lila when designing Manon's outfit.
Here's my personal theory. Marinette could actually be ladybug. Think about it. She has blue hair with 2 pigtais in the back, just like ladybug. They are also dubbed by the same VA, like Gabriel and monarch. In the intro, marinette says that she is a normal girl, but she has a secret. What if that secret is that she's ladybug? She is also always wearing 2 earrings, and we know that the miraculous of the ladybug are 2 earrings. I think my theory is correct and that Thomas should make it canon.
Similar to how there are 7 deadly sins, there are 7 unforgiveable plot holes. This theory commits #3, 5 and 7 simultaneously. In case anyone's wondering, that's continuity errors, characters acting out of character and large scale stupidity.
Oh god, I forgot about the "Zoe being Marinette and Adrien's daughter from the future" theory. I really hope nobody believes it anymore because then Zoe having a crush on Marinette would be seen as *sweet home alabama* 💀
My actual theory is that Lila is some kind of ancient demon that has been searching for the miraculous for some reason. She thrives on chaos and drama and that's why she takes the form of a teenager and attends school so she can mess with other teens because they are easy to mess with.
Also one of my theories, is that she took over the actual Lila and Cerise's life, (which is why I believe she apparently has "biological" mothers from different families) so she can blend in better with everybody.
It can't be just a coincidence that the flowers on manon's shirt are lilacs, irises and cerises. Maybe the writers didn't plan all this from the beginning and later they thought it would be a good plot so they gave lila's fake identities the names of manon's flowers on her shirt as a foreshadow just like lila and nadja sitting next to each other in art class. Why would nadja even be there anyway (especially next to lila) instead of a random background character, except if the writers are trying to tell us something. Also lila had a picture of nadja on her plan board.
good point but also since nadja has a connection to sabine and marinette through marinette babysitting manon i don't think that it's really that crazy that they put them in the same class/next to each other
Manon has much darker skin. It would be pretty problamatic if they ended up being the same character. The "miraculous costumes lightening the skin" controversy all over.
Well, "Miraculous" derives from the word Miracle, Jesus is a "Miracle Child" because he was born from a Virgin mother, if Lila is Manon and Manon is Mary then it all comes full circle again! This show is pure Christian propaganda with a terribly written plot😂😂😂
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was all pure coincidence. Manon is like 4 years old, Lila is probably older than she looks (if she can lie about everything about herself why not her age as well?).
The only and only way this can be possible is course of her growing up she became more and more jealous or spiteful. I don’t know Lila’s actual age and can’t be bothered to look it up but assuming that’s at bare minimum a 10 year gap between the ages there is reasonable doubt that it could happen. Do I think it is true? Not in the slightest but have to have half glass mentality on it.
also manon's skin has a notably darker complextion, so unless she became a vampire and stayed in her house for several years, yeah I don't see too much of a resemblance in looks. PLUS BOTH CHARACTERS ARE SHOWN TO H A V E D I F F E R E N T M O M S
@@girlleavemealone-- i dont belive the theory either but like lila has 3 moms and she probably put herself in fostercare to get thoes 3 moms and she mostlikly has an acual mom somewhere
in fact, her being too good and loving heroes is easily broken by some things, firstly she is 4 years old so she doesn't think about much but the example I really want to use is from her debut episode where she gets angry like the villains always lose, she has the power to create villains with dolls, and she is part of the team of villains, and in addition she has always shown herself to be manipulative, greedy and even very evil even though she is a child
Manon isn’t any more evil than Chris Laheath demanding to play a video game that he shouldn’t be playing. Alya and Marinette set a clear boundary telling him no. Alya’s twin sisters weren’t inherently evil in Sapotis. They were behaving like the 4 year olds they were. They wanted to stay up, play, eat whatever treats they wanted. They saw the world as being unfair to them because they couldn’t get what they wanted. Hawk Moth manipulated them through this by portraying himself as a friend who could give them whatever they wanted. It takes a loving, caring older influence setting proper boundaries to help them out grow that super spoiled mind set. I hate to bring Chloé into this, but she’s a perfect example ( even without Hawk Moth’s influence) of what happens when you give someone everything they want ( mayor Bourgeois attempts to buy Chloé’s affection or appease her in EVERY situation instead of guiding her and disciplining as the situation dictated. At the very least, Manon’s mother attempts to guide her in the right way. She attempts to set proper boundaries and provide s proper guidance. Manon was Akumatized because her mother told her no ( regarding the doll) and Hawk Moth swooped in capitalizing on a 4 year olds behavior and view of the world. Marinette behaved correctly when she didn’t fall for Manon’s attempt to test the boundaries the next time. She was also correct to divert Manon’s attention to going to the zoo instead. So Manon isn’t evil, she needs to have boundaries continue to be set in her life by the older people in her life as they have been doing.
I hoped the senti-theory was fake because it seemed too outlandish and bizarre...I wouldn't put it past Astruc to take a fan theory and actually use it.
i feel like they might start hinting at it more next season (unless the script is already set in stone, which isn't likely) the same way they did with the adrien/felix sentimonster theory and making chat blanc canon. i mean if the fans of the show don't like what the show is doing AND if they run low on ideas for conflicts they could always just add this in
Ok the Manon- Lila connection is a bit bizarre to say the least. There is, however, a time travel element to Lila’s back story ( Manon isn’t in ANY WAY involved though, unless the writers decide to take that route) Lila is and has been working with a character that hasn’t been introduced as of yet. The person Lila’s been working with is and has been working in the background the whole time. Lila is also in search of regaining a relationship with someone who already has been repeatedly shown in the show ( and no, it’s not Marinette, Chloe or Adrien)
Sorry, next time I’ll post a spoiler alert ( not that I exactly said who or what). I merely stated that they should do a bit of research and where they could go to do it.
My theory about Lila is that she's the sentimonster spawn of a past Fox Miraculous wielder and that because of that she has the essence of the fox within her. That's why she's able to lie as good as she can and that's how Gabe was able to akumatize her with the power of illusion in season 1 because the akuma was able to amplify the essence of the fox she already had within her. (this theory is mainly mine to justify how Gabe was able to akumatize her with a miraculous power because the idea of akumatization was broken in season 1 and not fully developed like it is now)
Would be interesting if she was an entity, sentimonster or something else, much similar to the serpent that was fighting the ladybug of that time, kinda like a kitsune that took the form of a human to take advantage of as many humans as she can
@@octavianfolea8473My explanation for that is because akumatization can give people the power of "replication" which basically allows the user to mimic the power of the miraculous. It's not the real bona fide power because with Copycat he could only use it the one time and with Antibug it's not the real power of creation, it just gave her a massive sword. Difference between Copycat/Antibug and Lila is that Lila did receive the full bona fide power of illusion; meaning there had to be some of the illusion essence already within her. And before you say anything, yes I'm doing mental gymnastics to try to fill out plot holes in a show about teenage animal superheroes in spandex.
@@GTron13Lila isn’t a sentimonster nor is she a descendant of a fox miraculous holder and have u forgotten Lila couldn’t be a sentimonster as the peacock miraculous is the only one who can make ‘em and as it’s said it was lost until Gabriel found it and nooroo’s miraculous meaning I just debunked ur theory
It’s sad because if this thing countrified to pick up steam te writers might run with this like the sentimonster theory. It’s sad because honestly like 20 years from now they should reboot this show and hire some fan fic writers to write this thing because they can do a better job then astruc and the boys! Like seriously here’s the formula to how to make this show actually good: A. Make Adrien a main character, have half of the episodes from every season focus on Adrien and follow him instead of Mari. 2. Make Felix and Adrien twins (then have Felix find out Adrien is Cat Noir around like season 2-3 ish, can you image Cat Noir begging Felix to pretend to be Adrien so that his identity isn’t blown). 3. Have Adrien and Marinette not like each other at first (I think like 90% of the fandom would love it if they went from enemies- to friends- to lovers, so make Adrien and Mari not get along and have Cat Noir and Lady Bug fall for each other). 4. Throw Zoe out the window and let Chloe redeem herself past season 2. 5. Make Gabe not a “sympathetic villain” and paint him as a hero in the end. 6. Have the final battle mainly a father vs son thing and where the reveal happens, Gabe freezes LB then CN takes the earrings sees it’s Mari then Gabe freezes CN takes the ring finds out it’s Adrien. Then Gabe freaks out and tries to make the wish but then sees the kids unfreeze and hug each other as they finally learn who the other one is and so he makes the wish to heal Natalie. Then boom the arc is not wasted and the rebels happens!
I love your ideas! Im glad I found someone who also doesn't like the sentimonster theory because Im pretty sure the writers saw how popular it was and added some clues in season 5 to lean into it and so they can prove it in season 6. Because if they really did wanted that to happenfrom the beginning (or at least thought of it from the earliier parts of the show) they would have dropped some clues in season1 or at least in season 3. Also the way they dropped clues in season 5 hinted that adrien was a sentimonster and in the reveal of it they said they got the peacock miraculous after adrien's mom was pregnant with and showed that felix was actually a sentimonster (i might be wrong but its the wrters fault for making it so confusing. Also i have to agree the most with the 6th point cuz the writers robbed us of the face to face confrontation with chat noir. I dont want gabriel to have a redemption arc but its fine as long as he suffers consequences and they dont make him play a victim card. And we always support enemies to lovers and no Zoe
Hm, this does sound very interesting, probably even more so than the Show, i guess. Though, when you say “make Adrien a Main Character” in what way do you mean? Also, i don’t think it’s necessarily to throw Zoe out entirely, while it seems pretty obvious that Zoe was introduced just to be a Chloe replacement for the Bee Miraculous, i don’t think that should mean that you couldn’t still use her in interesting ways. Anyway, yeah, I can agree that this Show might just need to be Rebooted at this Point, ‘cause things seems to be going downhill more times than not and Astruc aren’t really doing anything better seemingly. Hm, i wonder how the Anime Variant would’ve gone if they had stuck with that idea?
Plus throwing zoe out would make zoenette fandom go crazy, and making adrien the main would probably be waste of time considering the boys would drool on ladybug 😅
“She’s an irredeemable asshole” so was Gabe and we saw how that played out 💀 Honestly, it seems like the kind of plot twist Astruc would think is really clever. I really hate that time travel is a thing AT ALL in this show but I wouldn’t put it past him. It seems like they’re re-writing a lot of characters from their initial intent in the show so Lila’s entire design change and a possibly Manon character flip wouldn’t be too surprising. I can totally see a Marinette pulls a Last Jedi Luke Skywalker moment once she finds out who Manon will become and that’s what turns Manon to the dark side lol.
Smarty Pants, You’re Concept Crackpot Theory is the funniest thing I’ve seen all week!! This is so outlandish, I immediately laughed out loud when you started really going off the rails!
I have no idea how anyone could look at Lila and go, “Yes that’s totally the same seven year old we saw three episodes ago.” 🤦🏻♀️ (Even with all the explanations here, it just seems too outlandish.)
One part of the Manon Lila theory is that when they both became Akumatized, they have similar powers. Mind control, which is spotty at best since other villains have mind control too. Pyschomedian, Kung Food, etc. Hardly believable evidence.
That’s not what they’re talking about, when cerise is “controlling” Chloe in the principles office trying to get mrs bustier fired they show cerise using Chloe as a puppet the same way Manon controlled lady WiFi. It’s not about the controlling but mostly how it was presented the exact same way!
I don’t believe in this theory or watch the show, but I think that there could actually be an explanation as to why Manson would hate the heroes. If you’re stuck in the future/any other time period and you keep waiting for the heroes to save you - which they never do since they didn’t know - then over time that would likely lead to resentment. It doesn’t explain why she would lie to others and idk if I’m even understanding the theory properly though so idk
I like to think of Thomas Astruc as kind of a messed up George Lucas with the Star Wars prequels. He had a really good concept at first, but because he was the writer/director who didn’t really know how to execute it, it ended up being terrible. The Miraculous movie is like all the good old Star Wars movies, executing the concept perfectly. The fact that Astruc still has a job is beyond me, because he’s an arrogant man-child who claims to be great just because he has so many people watching. That doesn’t mean it’s good, it just means that people can’t look away.
Is it bad that I kinda like it as a crack theory? Could make an interesting fanfiction idea, but a bad writing decision on the actual show. I think this theory was just desperation at wanting to know Lila's backstory. If we were to believe this theory, we have to think that Manon is doing everything she can to get the time travel miraculous so she can return, because she was somehow sent into the past when she was a teen, eleven years in the future from Miraculous's current time. Also to believe this, we have to think that Lila since Season 2 knew everything that was going to happen in the series because she would have witnessed it as a child but she doesn't actually have this at all. People also say that Manon always wants attention and has meltdowns over the heros so that makes her Lila. (Have they ever met a child? That's pretty normal.) Anyway, this theory would need a lot more set-up since SEASON 2 if it were true because both characters have appeared since Season 2 at least. Manon has not appeared since like, Season 4, right? In Simpleman. My favorite thing is I've heard from this theory is that she has so many mothers because Lila!Manon's mom Nadia was too busy working and didn't spend time with her, so that's why she has mommy issues in the future and has been "adopted' by three different moms. That's why she tells Sabine that she's like a mother to her in front of Nadia in the chinese painting class. So petty if that's true, I love that.
The plot about a villain going back in time in order to bear the messiah and change the course of humanity as they see fit is wild and I dig it unironically lmao
My own crack theory for Lila is she’s immortal, maybe a former miraculous user Think about it, 3 mom’s? Why would anyone need 3 separate mom’s? We know she has at least 2 separate identities, probably travels a bit, wouldn’t she need her own money for that so none of her mom’s get suspicious?
Ugh. Who came up with this dumb theory anyway? Manon is barely in the show, and the show itself handles time travelling terribly. But y'know, even if this theory is dumb, I wouldn't be surprised if the writers make it true. After all, this show doesn't hint at or foreshadows anything and make things and certain characters come out of nowhere.
The thing i hate is that they will probably ignored is they anounce to the hole school that alex had the rabbit miraculous so that means if you have a single brain cell you can steal it
I mean, lilacs being the reason Manon is Lila is silly but knowing the writers of miraculous nothing is too far fetched 😭😭 that’s why we put that as a part of the theory
It’s not only that, she has all three of Lila’s names on it.. cerises, irises. The people who disregard this theory clearly don’t put enough research into it.
Or a disgraced/cursed guardian. She had the training, but was caught doing something terrible and cast out-- possibly getting cursed with eternal youth. Her family refused to take her back, so Lila kept moving around, changing her identity and manipulating everyone. Though I think more than likely she was introduced a possibly rival without much thought beyond that.
i find this theory very outlandish and most likely untrue but i find it funny how there's that scene of manon doing the photoshoot with adrien in episode 1 and a photo of her smooching him on the cheek and then lila taking a selfie doing the same thing to adrien in like season 3
Agreed. This “Lila is Manon” theory really is getting on my nerves. Manon is innocent! Even though she is sometimes bothersome she made me laugh, however even SHE can’t come up with lies.
The spark of the theory was where Manon's mom had an X on the board of lila and they had no interactions so I actually think there is potential quality evidence
How this is a thing I don't understand. That would be too stupid even for this show. Smarty pants theory on the other hand, fantastic I can't believe I didn't see it earlier
Honestly while I think the theory is dumb and hope it doesn't happen in the show it's actually a really fun and interesting theory like I would read a fanfic about it .
I think this theory is trash, but honestly at that point I dont even care abou how inconsistent or absurd things are in miraculous as long as they bring me a little bit of entertainment lol
To go back to the previous video, I think Serece (If that’s how it’s spelled) will cause chaos as (insert villain name here I say Viceroy) and play the hero as Serece. Gaining more power in both alter egos.
guys.. what if Marinette is Gabriel?? like they have the same skin color and they both care about Adrien, maybe they're alternate versions of each other with linked souls this is the craziest theory ever 😱😱
I can see this as a possible theory. But I feel like something needs to happen to her mother in order to go into the past something to do with ladybug. Thus she goes back to disguise both monarch and ladybug. But honeslty I would like for Lila to be a spy for the secret order that tried to take the miracle boxes.
god and jesus are not real just saying :3 is a comment who gets hate lol jk belive in what ya what even if is faith or fandoms but i agree that one is really farfetch but i still love this show
I thought you were gonna say Monon's name being a diminutive for the name Marie which sounds like Marinette, thus making her Marinette from the past... but instead you jumped straight to Lila being the virgin Mary.😯
i have a theory too! lila's name "cerise" in french means cherry. therefore, lila is actually an anthropomorphic cherry. what do cherries symbolize? fertility & innocence. what comes to mind when you think of innocence? a child. what is manon? a child. this means its very likely that she really is manon. and fertility? you probably think of pregnancy & motherhood, combined with the evidence in the video, i think it's safe to say lila is a future timetravelling anthropomorphic cherry disguising herself as a human and going by the name "manon", so she can develop more motherly skills by hanging around nadja THAT way she will be 100% ready to mate with chris & give birth to jesus.
I'm sorry but you left out quite a lot of theories. you did mention the flower on manons outfit are lilacs but there are two other flowers named: cerise and iris. (Lilas two other names). More evidence is when Chris and Manon were tugging on both ears of the bunny miraculous(time travel), coincidence? I think not. another one is, Lila controlled Chloe in the episode where Chloe is mayor the exact same way Manon controlled people as puppeteer. Even Thomas astruck mentioned in a post "outfits mean something" manons clearly meant something. I don't mean this is a rude way but it was easy for you to debunk this theory in your video only because you mentioned 1 deep evidence people only 1 flower on manons outfit
And I hate what there did with with Adrian he was not supposed to be a sentimonster he was a but a wonder child that was overprotective by their parents because trey couldn’t get more kids. The writing should have been like this. Gabriel decided to Akumazed transform in a peacock man with the same powers is the peacock miraculous and try to control Adrian but Emily transform her self in mother peacock to protect Adrian from peacock man for doing so she get I’ll and out of shock Gabriel break the Akuma and out of guilt he want to bring Emily back. The would be a better writing the crap that we have now for my opinion
Nice video. I would love for you to talk about how awful the 'great friendships' in this show actually are. Seriously, It is hard to find a friendship where one person showed they dont care about boundaries or encouraged the other in bad behaviour. The only healthy friendship I can think of is Nathaniel and Alix. They only had one solo scene together but it was everything the main friendship groups should have been.
Lila being Manon is more believeable than Adiren being a fucking SENTIMONSTER and after THAT theory became outrageously popular Astruc made it canon. I wouldn't be surprised if to maintain tension that this is what Miraculous chooses to do. EDIT: as far as being out of character for Manon, that's part of why people believe it. Because Manon has grown a lot in this theory. Part of the theory is that Marinette hurt and betrayed Manon in some way, she grew with that resentment, got sent back in time, and wants to take away everything from Marinette which is why she first goes for the guy that Marinette likes, and then tries to completely socially isolate her. I think the only part that doesn't make sense is the mum. Everything else is aight, but Lila having a mother in this universe makes me wonder how Astruc would be able to tie it all in.
@@polishalastor142 maybe she gets used to lying since she realises Marinette lies all the time about where she's going. She doesn't know it's about being Ladybug but Manon knows and sees how she gets away with it so easily
I knew Lila was the Virgin Mary how did I not realize that. Lila clearly steals the peacock miraculous from Felix goes back in time and makes Jesus with it in order to paint the world in her image and that’s why the world is so fucked up just like her (obviously I’m joking before the Christians get mad at me)
I dont think this is correct, but personally i think the only way to save Lila as an antagonist is to reveal shes a sentimonster whos power is to convince people of anything. Itd be literally the only explanation that would make people believing any of the bullshit she says make sense.
it is not possible, as i think that Manon could already known Marinette and Alya and surely remember the miraculous "Plushies" so she would know she is ladybug when she grew up.
I refuse to believe anyone over the age of 8 seriously believing in this. And we better stop talking about it before the showrunners get the wrong idea
Honestly unless they go for a trauma or dissolution angle , i cant see her becoming a villain and even then not lilas level, lila just seems to be the irredeemable monster the writes force chloe to be through shitty writing , but lilas just actually a bad person but nobody says anything about it.....i highly doubt the sweet and if a bit bratty little girl becomes the careless manipulative lila , just doesn't add up
Here's the thing about Chris. His name is actually Noel in French, because Christmas is Noël in French. So while that doesn't entirely invalidate the Joseph and Mary idea, you do have to consider translations.
This theory has always bothered me or just was too confusing for me.I've seen some tik tok slideshows and i decided to take a "deeper" look into it but i notice a similarity.Every time someone mentions or talks about this theory they always use to claim that Lilas real physical appearance [Not the wig and everything] looks similar to Manons mother [As if people with brown eyes and brown hair don't exist and aren't normal] or just that voice line of that one akumatized guy from the future. All the matching bracelets from her babysitting some kids just don't make any sense! Anyone can have that.Since Thomas loves fanservice I'm afraid he will make this theory canon just like with the Adrien is a sentimonster one.Not only him making it canon would complicate the timeline but also will make even Lilas reason why is she is a villan [if i remember correctly is about how Ladybug called her out infront of her crush...?Bland much] more complicated.Like what did Marinette do to this little girl that grew up with hatred towards her?!
Your theory was some grade A crackpot the world is flat, cats rule the world stuff I've heard in a while...I love it. But to be serious, Lila being Manon but from the future is dumb-but this show has alot of dumb staff as we STILL don't know how LIla was able to have multiple families as a child, how does she manage it, why did she do it at all? We don't know so them making this theory true would fit right on in with how convoluted the show gets.
Theory 1: What if the teacher's unborn child (I forgot the teacher's name) got affected by the akumatization? And maybe in season 6/7+ we will see the child being a bad person (doesn't necessarily need to be a vilain, but maybe just a person with bad characteristics) Theory 2: In the Paris special Tikki explained to Marinette that there's a "safety system" in the Miraculous if the holder is not an adult yet, this system makes the holder detransform 5 minutes after using their special ability (we have seen this with Ladybug using her lucky charm and Chat Noir using his cataclysm throughout the series), but when the holder uses the Miraculous' powers for evil purposes (like Shadybug and Claw Noir) this system doesn't work, and the Miraculous will slowly "kill" their holder (similar to when the Miraculous is broken), so my theory is that because Lila/Cerise (or whoever she calls herself) uses the Butterfly Miraculous for evil purposes and is not an adult yet (I don't think she is), so I think that throughout the 6th season we will see her struggling with her health. What do you think about my theories?
