In this episode I show how to make a chorus effect with one PT2399. There is a lot of different designs out there (as usual) but I chose the Little Angel because it only uses one PT2399 and with a few mods can do a bunch more tricks than only chorus, like vibe / vibrato and "space warble" :)

That is really nice, I think chorous is underrated in the modular world. To make a tapedelay you will need a 3 head tape recorder. They have gotten quite expensive theese days. I was lucky to have one from when they where considered worthless, but it is in very bad shape. I just managed to fix it a few months ago as it luckekly just was a bad ground. If you manage to find a recorder with a monitor button, that is a good indication that it is a 3 head. Hainbach have a good video about tapedelay that is worth checking out. I have seen a video here on youtube of someone adding another tape head inside a cassette with a tapeloop, and that should be possible to do even on a pretty tight budget.

Nice sounding module! For delay you can look into the binson echorec, you might be able to do something like that and avoid the hassle of tape while retaining the tape heads. I have two ideas for my own stuff - a AM radio circuit used as a noise source (with bits of russian!) and a tamed ISD1820 circuit with CV input (or maybe a resistor ladder and a crude keyboard) used in loop mode.

very fun to build..i buy 10pcs pt2399...build3 and sell..hahahahaha..make money back... dont worry about component..super cheapper component can nice work..already try...
