You guys are pronouncing her name wrong lol also you have to remember it’s a Live action so it has to look realistic and it’s also dark and the animation if you go look back on it. Their still making changes hunde why they moved the official trailer from November to now February. If you have Disney+ when type it in you can see they’ve made her hair more red in the thumbnail. The part where Ariel says "I say we take off and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure" made me tear up. This is going to be the best adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's classic. So stunning...so brave!

I bet you any amount of money they will NOT make the Prince in this movie Black. It will still be a White Prince for this Black mermaid, mark my words ! Just like they excluded a Black Prince from "The Princess and The Frog"

I'd like you to watch an age old story where the original character is race erased from black to whatever else and telling us how it still reminds you to your childhood original and crying happy tears while watching it.
