Thanks so much for this. One impression I have is that there were a lot of questions totally irrelevant to the crime itself. I can imagine half the jury nodding off occasionally. Another is that the prosecutors are somewhat arrogant in their dealings with the witnesses. I'm wondering if maybe the verdict was a repudiation of them specifically. This production by Lions Den is obviously a labor of love, I'm looking forward to the whole series.

Thanks for the comment. Day 3 Part 3 should be up in the next week or so. You make a great point about the prosecutors. In many ways, they are similar to those on the Simpson case. One was somewhat aloof and the other was dropped in to a key role very late whereas in both instances (Borden and Simpson) the defense really spoke to the jury. We're having a great time doing this. I wondered about the irrelevant questions as well. Might they be a tactic of the attornies (both Defense and Prosecution) to open up witnesses and make their testimony more spontaneous (truthful) and less hesitant/evasive?

This is very well done. Thank you. Not meant as a negative comment but just an observation…. It seems that all of this has been recorded however, at the speed of reading instead of the speed of contemplation. Miss Christine seems to have got the timing and the pacing perfect but the rest of the production is so fast you can’t imagine that they’re even thinking before they answer and I don’t believe that would be reality. With that one caveat, it’s very well done. Thank you for all of this.

Fascinating.... I read the transcripts a while back but it was hard keeping up.You have all done a magnificent job .. the different voices and inflections make it so easy to follow and give it life as well as the photographic bonus.Thank You 👍👍👍

After reading the inquest, and listening to this trial transcripts, i am convinced Lizzie is the one responsible for these murders. Imo

Can absolutely see that. I'm keeping my own opinion close to the chest at this point, but I am convinced that with the exact same evidence, a modern jury would have found her guilty. I'm prepping some of the defense audio currently and they do a better job throwing some doubt in there than I'd initially believed. Thanks for the comment Day 4 coming soon :)
