I am still watching your videos and I have decided to buy some clippers and do my own buzz cut. Do you have any words of advice for me? My stylist uses guard no. 8 but a different one to trim around my ears and my neck. That is where I think I might have a problem. Any tips would be appreciated! 😊😊😊

can you share your favorite products? I use the texture powder but it's not giving me what I want. I want a super pliable texture cream or pomade that will work overtime and let me redo throughout the day without getting greasy or leaving white residue. Thanks! Oh BTW would you say #8 is similar to finger length?

#8 is finger length indeed, but the big difference is that a number 8 is even all over. Finger length varies a little because of the sections you pick up. There are two styling products: a more clay like wax/pomade for a messy look or a wet pomade for a softer one.

Please forgive, but I am confused. If you are using a #8 guard why does her hair keep getting more and more where you can see her scalp. Which is fine for me but I don't understand how this happens unless you change the guard length.

Haha I thought it was a negative comment at first! You don’t need that much mousse, buy a good pomade instead.
