This series is most certainly the BEST TV worth watching in over a decade of British television. 10/10. It does NOT focus on the sensationalism of an animal & butcher who ruthlessly murdered over 15 woman in a 5 year period. But more importantly puts a spotlight on the injustice served by the Yorkshire constabulary who repeatedly fumbled their way through the case due to appallingly bad management & their sexist, misogynist attitudes that clouded their ability to see past alpha ego & politics. 9 times the killer was in their custody & let go. NINE TIMES! The cast is pure brilliance with performances that leave you in compete empathy for the women & survivors of Britains most hideous series killer. The most shocking realisation of this true story is - NOTHING HAS CHANGED in British policing attitudes. NOTHING AT ALL.

I can’t find the first two episodes .. where can I watch them? Not on itvX

I loved the first episode. However, I am now desperately trying to find out the name of the seventies disco track that Emily Jackson puts on the juke box at the Gaiety, and dances to with her admirer from the bar. Anyone know it?

Have to say it seems the first detective seemed like he genuinely wanted to catch the killer and cared for the woman being killed. Why was he removed? Was it a promotion or just moved aside?

Great series . Apart from the annoying crow sounding noise that pays alongside every tense part . Otherwise brilliant. 👌

What always annoys the hell out of me is in any series set in Yorkshire is the actors generally give a good stab at the accent, but they always give themselves away - hardly anybody in the county says nowt so that it rhymes with out and certainly nobody in the West Riding.

I'm not glorifying this it was a great series though so was "Des" and "Dahmer" I'd like to see good series about Bundy and Gacy the movies made bout them are rubbish.

Mind numbingly slow editing. Lots of anguished staring into the middle distance. Probably a good three parter in there somewhere. Check out Manhunt with Martin Clunes. Now that's more like it.

Background music too loud I switched off so annoying 🤬
