To be honest, I think Kintoki's Caster was Scheherazade. Our thantophobic caster probably took one look at the bullshit that is Heian-kyo; superhuman Genji warriors, vicious oni and man-eating monsters wandering the capital's streets being a fact of life and just "noped" it out of there. She probably found a cave, pulled a boulder in to seal the entrance, closed her eyes, covered her ears and simply sang "la, la, la...." until everything was all over.

In a nutshell: Shimosa but this time you actually get to kick Douman's ass. Summon him and make him understand the pecking order of Chaldea. At least Douman has his uses. REMEMBER: Jason is *ALWAYS* at the bottom of the pecking order. *NO EXCEPTIONS!*

As soon as I saw ibuki douji's name I definitely kept confusing her name with shuten douji and ibaraki douji.

hey man, I just want to thank you for making these videos. I fell out of love with FGO (due to lack of time) after Lostbelt 4 was released. I've been trying to get back into it but the time and motivation to actually read are not coming back to me. After binging your Lore of Fate Grand Order playlist (and other Fate-related/type moon videos) I feel like I'm ready again to immerse myself in this franchise I've loved for years so thank you so much.

I have Kintoki Berseker, Mama Raikou, and Nursery Rhyme. Now I am gonna use them 3 together as a Family on random farming at times. 💜💜 Mama Raikou is very dear to my heart because she is 2nd GSSR I got and help me power through Singularity 3 to 7.

33:08 "We have a really F'ing annoying against Tsuna" Hmm, I don't remember... oh yeah, I suppose that might have been annoying, save I was invincible the entire time (thanks Himiko, Merlin and Castoria). Honestly since I discovered just how OP that combo is, most the fights were total jokes.

Honestly after playing through Heiankyo myself, it’s one of my favorite chapters in FGO. Especially the Taira fight because of how Kintoki’s character was elevated by it. Plus Yoshitsune’s speech to Kintoki after she was freed of Kagekiyo’s control hit me in the feels. It’s probably one of my favorite fights in all of FGO. And that’s not even mentioning Kintoki’s speech towards the end, which was amazing in its own right.

It was good to do this chapter because it was stress relief before having to deal with the Lostbelts again. Also it was extremely satisfying to kick Doumans clown ass after all shit he put us through. By the way Happy New Year.

I was also confused with Tamamo's entry. She was supposed to exist until another hundred years. And if she had multiple incarnations then Abe-no-Semi should have already exposed her identify rather than waiting for another 100 years.

Ibuki had one of the most impressive and imposing story entrances of any enemy in FGO, and then she just gets eliminated immediately. Was a bit disappointing. On another note, I'm on a FGO hiatus. Only planning to login for story/events that actually interest me from this point forward. Other stuff is just way too much time and work for no payoff. I also keep hoping lasagna will accelerate story releases. Not sure how small the localization team is (recent quality suggests it's pretty small). 6 months for story chapters just seems like a long wait.

This chapter had a lot of really good moments but overall I felt like it was just all over the place. They completely lost me when we were spared by Ibuki for whatever reason other than Douman being impatient. It felt like a really lazy trope to once again get us out of an inescapable trouble. After just finishing this chapter today and watching this video, I'm starting to see other things that was just complete BS or just happen for the sake of happening to progress the story. The whole Tamamo thing I find really hard to believe without complete proof which they did not provide. Nursery Rhyme being healed because of Kintoki? Despite Medea, a caster from the Age of Gods couldn't restore her Spirit Origin but hey our Mystic Code healing did just the trick. I thought the connection with her and Raikou was cool and their send off was cute but she ultimately contributed absolutely nothing to the story after that. Great video nonetheless I always look forward in watching these explanations to maybe catch something I missed on my playthrough

Great summary content as always, now that I finally catched up with the lastest FGO lore video as of now, I'm excited to know more about what's gonna happen next in the 6th lostbelt: Avalon le Fae. While It is certainly a journey of new concepts and lots of characters tossed in, as well as more terminologies that complicated the Nasuverse even more, It is certainly what made me appreciate Fate even in a greater extent despite the hate and criticism It gets, since Its complexity's what added so much dept to the story that I found a passion to learn more about. We appreciate you for making the content easier to gasp as the amount of infos that were introduced were undoubtedly overwhelming to digest all in one. Keep up the good work Dai-kun !

I know I’m getting spoiled by watching these videos but gosh dang it does Dai-Kun make this series entertaining to watch. Though if he makes a video about LB6 I will absolutely avoid it so that I can experience it blindly (though with all the catching up to do, it’s gonna take me a while to get there).

Ik this is an old video, but I just finished heian-kyo. The overall plot and pacing were quite weak, but I enjoyed the characters more than usual. I especially was endeared to Danzo whom I previously didn't really care for. Her instantly putting the final blow on Douman after we tell him to shut up is such a cool, underrated moment.

Is it possible that Abe no Seimei is qualified to be a grand caster?

Seems for this chapter that Lasengle learned from what was less than popular during Shimousa, at least as far as the boss fights go. Rather than force us to, say, use Kintoki for every major boss with no other option, they made the story supports optional but come with nice buffs that still make you consider bringing them along. Players without a fitting roster for a fight still have them as options to potentially fill in the gaps, meanwhile those who don't need the servants/buffs can do their own thing without having their own strats hamstrung. Honestly not sure I could have gotten past Ibuki myself without a bunch of continues if I couldn't borrow a certain crit-happy Greek archer to address the problem (and even then it took a few tries). And speaking of Ibuki, as someone who summoned her well ahead of playing this chapter and growing to quickly like her, it was a tad disappointing to see how little screen time she got. Like, she shows up, chads all over our heroes like the unstoppable god she is, then Douman drops a safe on her. I kinda agree with another comment that the overall story for this Singularity felt all over the place, with plot points and threats being tossed willy-nilly compared to Shimousa. Still, I could be charitable and say it fits the position we've put Douman in by this point --- he's backed into a corner with no more lives left, and his pawns aren't dancing on his strings like he's used to. For once we have a story where our heroes keep seeing through the villain's plans right away and go "nope, we're stopping that *right now."* So the clown wizard's sweating bullets and being more reckless than normal. By the time he throws Ibuki at us he's really not thinking his ideas through as much as he would otherwise; Ibuki had us on the ropes and could have ended us right there, had Douman only waited a little longer before contacting her. But it seems his distrust of her and overall desperation got the better of him and made him change his plans too soon. For someone as inhumanly evil as Douman, losing his composure and accidentally playing himself remains a rather human way to fail.

You’re telling me they gave up the opportunity to exploit the Alien God’sweakness just to kill Dōman? What is the thought process here?

Think you forgot to mention the whole final curse Douman was about to cast. A bit of reading up on it makes it kind of a plot convenience that anyone survived. Seriously, its a curse that can kill anyone who isnt protected by anti-purge defense but apparently it just doesnt activate for some reason
