I LOVED THIS PERFORMANCE!! And I am a huge J5 fan going all the way back to 1971 when I was a kid. I dislike most covers. But you all captured the joy, the energy, the nuance of the original recording. Plus the vocals and the musicians were outstanding. Thank you for showing how great music transcends generations. Do people realize their part of a music educatio that brings black in Latin music to students who otherwise might not be exposed? Still, they look awfully white. The one black member is a horn player. Many people rotate in and out of the ensemble.
Overall, the remake was quite successful, but the most important thing was the ending of the song, which was unfortunately destroyed in this version. The vocal exchange of the Jackson brothers was brilliant, but here it was completely omitted. It's a pity because there was potential.
No, no, no....first of all, the trumpets are not supposed to be in there, the backup singers look tired or maybe they just dont have any rythmn. I could go on but now I am tired of listening to all this confusion. The intruments are not insync. I am going back to watch the 1970 original with Michael

KGeezy TV - that’s because the drummer sounds like he’s building a fucking shed! Totally wrong bass drum pattern and the feel is unbelievably shit and definitely nowhere near on point. Guy needs to find some soul. Great band though and nice to see a brass section. Lead Girl singer done a great job and the backing vox was on point so good job overall I think.
