Love this camera but I just wish it didn’t have moire effect on certain materials like clothing for video. Do you have any advice on ways to prevent it? Could it be certain picture profiles?
There's a company called Kolari Filters that have made a drop in AA filter to prevent this. You'd need to send your camera off to them though, and then they fit it just in front of the sensor :)
Unfortunately the "smart cloud" that has been set up by Sony with enough money and maintained by an "army of willing and paid" prevents the truth from being seen. To be honest, Panasonic also has its responsibilities. Her "reactions" to the competition are in slow motion!! (and Unfortunately not only 120p 🤣). WHERE WAS PDAF, all this time? Where are his improvements? (at least the ones introduced with the G9II....)
Can you tell which Sony camera in the same price range has 4k 120?????? and yes it took a while for Lumix to finally change the AF but the important thing is that they did it, the same way that it took a long time for Sony to add shutter angle and other cinema features that their cinema cameras fx3 and fx30 didn't have. Also, Canon always cuts off their cameras in features just because they are afraid it might affect their cinema line. At the end of the day, it comes the night hahaha, joking aside, all camera brands have things that we as customers don't like, it is just the way it is, actually, I think nowadays one of the best if is not the best hybrid camera is Nikon z8 but I can't afford it or justify buying it. MFT, APSC, FF, all of them, in my opinion, are good cameras. In the meantime, I am enjoying my time with my s5IIx and my bmpcc4k. No complaints on my part!
