I loved this and understand the feast of Purim much better. As a Catholic who has grown up in Jewish neighborhoods most of my life, I must admit I knew little about Purim. The first reading of today's Catholic Mass tells how Queen Esther prayed for days and secured life for the Jewish People who Haman had plan to eliminate them. Thus I headed for You Tube for enlightenment and was given a great deal of joy!

I am a Christian who celebrates Jewish holy days. Purim reminds us that, like the sword that saved the Jews from the day of their distruction, Jesus is our sword against sin! God bless His people and those who bless them!

One of the revelations i've had is that there are "lost" or missing Jewish bretheren in Africa. They were seperated from the Jews in Egypt & now we are reconnecting with our lost brothers & sisters! It's really beautiful, go Esther! God Bless ALL people.

When I have read about all the evilness commited in the muslims Gods name Allah, i realize those people have no joy inside, because BY LACK OF JOY MAN TURNS EVIL ....... then I go to you tube and look for jewish songs. The beat has an extremely uplifting feeling, to Watch the joy on their faces, when they sing and dance is so positive and it certainly touch your Heart. I love the Lord, and love His people so much - I can speak basic Hebrew but every time I meet a Jew I am so excited I can barely speak a word - so excited to visit Israel next year Lord willing. :D It's so beautiful to see the plan from the beginning of time that is laid out all through the Old Testament (Tanach) pointing to Jesus, the Messiah, and the perfect fulfilment of the entire Jewish history in Him. I rejoice to see the love that God has for the Jews - and their incredible privilege of being His chosen nation! :)
I gotta say, that this is an amazing group and anyone who comments any type of profanity should really be ashamed of themselves. If you worked to make something as hard as the Maccabeats did for their songs you wouldn't want to see prejudce and curse words surrounding it.
