I don’t subscribe to a lot of people. But this guy is cool lol. Love the content. Only seen 2 vids but I love the dude lol. I’m subscribing for sure 😭🙏. Keep it up man 🙌
I could definitely hear that belt slipping on the high rpm times. The blower pitch was whining and then just stays constant up top with no change. Nice time and runs.
Bummer about the pulley, but I agree that is pretty cool to go mid 10’s on a so-so pass. If that thing goes 1.5xx short times, it might crack into the 9’s!
It's a beast for sure. I went back and blew-up the video of my boost gauge and was shocked. It dropped down to around 15# during the run. So not only was it slipping, but it also had about 10# less boost than it was supposed to!
@@98saleen damn , I knew that thing was a serious monster but that just ridiculous. Things going to seriously hurt some feelings once sorted . Those are some insanely good numbers for circumstances
Sorry if I missed it, but what are the power mods done to the Mach? And a 3.0 Whipple would definitely make things better. I wish the 2.3 blowers weren't so expensive to port and polish otherwise that would be a good option too. Especially since you're already running high boost numbers. There's a guy on YT that made ~850whp on a ported 2.3 vmp blower, and another guy on the FB pages got into the 8's at +150mph with a ported gen 1 2.3 vmp. So it's possible
It's the Gen 2 VMP 2.3 that now has a 2.9 upper and 4# lower. I just went around the block and still saw about 22# of boost but it held steady. At the next track outing, it should run low 10's over 140mph if the belt doesn't slip and the boost stays consistent. The engine is built with billet rods, ported heads and L+M cams on E85.
