I edit my original comment and ending this inconsequential thread. Acting does matter and a lot. Bad vfx are tolerable, bad acting no. Second, equipment show in these video exceed the pay check of one year of salary of many actors in the world. Then, money matter to. VFX are not made of good will and are very expensive. There are nothing in this video that show lack or constrain of resources. Use of recycle materials are really common in many artistic disciplines. Last, obsessive youtubers are always suckers. Have a nice day.

I adored everything about this. It feels so magical and sincere like its the truest form of story telling, developing a really strong atmosphere through so much effort.

Smoke and volumetric light shafts makes everything looks like 80s retro futurism! I love it!

This is the perfect combination of miniture effects and CGI, and it looks absolutely magical. So much better than the complete 100% CGI mess we get in major studio films today - Marvel, DC take note! A really inspiring video, thanks for sharing the experience with us.

Great stuff. It’s all in the fun of letting the creation tell you what it wants to be and being patient with it. I love it.
