1:19 probably my favorite moment in the entire series. I think that the idea of the entire world coming together in unison for one moment to take down something like the monster as one is so f@#$ing cool 😎
The thing I like about this series is that there's no cultural appropriation and gatekeeping unlike in other shows where "you can't do voodoo because you're not black you're white".
@@KyngofJewelit’s all about respect for one another. Cultures borrow from one another and evolve. It’s always been true and magic cannot be contained by just one culture, tradition, religion, race, nationality, etc. Since there are many different cultures there are many different ways to express magick. Santeria, Voodoo, Hoodoo, Western, Eastern, Low, High, Folk, Ceremonial, and many more… but it all comes for the same source… The All(God, Goddess, The Supreme Being, the Presence, or whatever you want to call this Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent being that is Being itself…)
The way Eliot recovered in the end of this scene really caught me off guard. It just shows Eliot's resilience. Imagine being possessed by a goddamn monster capable of destroying the world for months, being stabbed in the stomach and after all that, be able to give Margo a nice greeting. He's the man.
this show has made me cry, get goosebumps, love and hate people. learned a lot honestly. This scene specifically gave me such chills! Wish this show never ended :(
The funniest thing about this scene is the iPhone text scene, like idk what service they have but that’s some inter-dimensional phone service right there or fillory has a cell tower 😂
Anyone feel bad for the Brother Monster like I do? I mean, don't get me wrong I am so happy Eliot was freed but the Brother learned to appreciate the world and even liked humans in his own way, thanks to being around Quentin & Co.
Yeah, I felt a little bad for him but just because he learned to appreciate the world and a couple humans doesn’t mean he learned to appreciate the human species. He’s mentally unstable and incredibly powerful. I feel bad for him but even if he got his own body he was still too dangerous.
@@stirlingarcher7972 Exactly. He was sociopathic in a way where he could snap one day & kill countless people. Those he chose to "appreciate" might say the wrong thing & oops there hoes all that appreciation is gone. All those gods worked together to jail him & made it clear that he/she/it should NEVER be allowed to escape.
that line is really unearned in my opinion. at no point in the entire season does the monster really show that he cares about, respects or appreciates life or humans until he randomly does all of the sudden right before he gets offed.
@@tylerferguson3707 he showed signs of it throughout his time with Quentin. In the I wouldn't say he hated humanity. In his own way, he liked them. That doesn't mean he wouldn't hesitate to kill them unless it would interfere with his goals (like Quentin threatened once when he was killing Elliots body)
The really fantastic fact is that Hale is such an amazing and talented actor that he make us to love Monster and be upset for him. I really felt sadness because I've seen smth sensual in Monster's behaviour. Maybe he could be another. Thank you, Hale. I love you❤️
As much as I feel bad for the monsters but they should've come back in some episodes in season 5 and have a match with the beast. Brother monster managed to kill Our Lady Underground/Persephone what more would it be for a master magician like the beast
The thing that came out of the bottle was a monster possessing the guy. The gods made this monster unkillable so they needed to trap it. The spell they need to keep the, trapped is so strong that they need as many people casting is as they can, which is why it showed all the different people casting it and the nurses in the hall still casting it afterwards. When she says “they need all the ambient to keep those bottles sealed” she means that they need all the magic remaining in the air (it’s rationed by a higher order in this season) to keep those monsters trapped.
Yeah there was a magical virus going around that could kill magicians who casted so he was one of the magicians who opted to seal their magic (temporarily, supposedly) just in case
