The Magnificents (Original lead Johnny Keyes with bass Rufus Hunter and tenor Reggie Gordon (both joined 1957) and baritone Julius "Skeeter" Hawkins, who first recorded with Keyes in 1959), perform the group's 1956 hit, "Up On The Mountain", at a P.O.R.C.C. event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 8, 1993.

Sadly, it is reported that Johnny Keyes passed away in August of 2018. Along with his music, his book "Du-Wop" is a fascinating first-person story of the music business in the late 1950's
