I cant agree more to what youve said. Music is often overseen from all the visuals and stories, but music is what enhances those other experiences. I just love the orchestral music of monster hunter in general XD

potato radish If you look at examples like Oblivion an Skyrim for example, what makes these fantastic worlds so interesting and drives you to explore them is 90% the musical ambience and the soundtrack. It is not just a cool side thing to enjoy, but at the very core of our experiences.

Dismoeyy yes, although I havent gotten into skyrim too much, I recall the great soundtracks that created the atmosphere of the game as a whole

Diabolical Well, guess I'm kinda used to hearing more themes since I started back in 3U. Spoiled by Brachy, Ceadeus, and my man Zinogre.

Bazel theme is just epic,miss the old rathalos theme tho

Osiris Avra Rathalos never had a theme, he was just always fought in Forest & Hills and the theme was kind of just meant to be his.

Leeroy I've only played 3U, 4U and Generations and the only memorable one to me is Moga, I know Generations had returning villages but the concept of having 4 areas to go to just for story quests was annoying to me and I never really paid any attention to the music. What villages have good themes? I'll go look them up :)

Badass Toad Yeah, have Komiyama, Makino and Narita in one team again since MHP2ndG (Freedom Unite) they will deliver! Komiyama has always been the composer for MH series going forward, as well as Makino. I like the new recorded theme of Kushala, Komiyama did a great work. God bless her! I'm just glad they didn't go with MH4 composers for World that wouldn't have been great. I just didn't like that soundtrack or X/Gen.

Stropatici Dude, MH3’s music was literal *perfection*. And I can’t be exaggerating. I won’t be surprised if every single piece of music from MHTri’s soundtrack brought you smiles and joy. :) The beautiful Loc Lac city with all the relaxing and joyful music.. The beautiful and friendly community that *made* it what it is today.. The love put into the ecosystem, the monster designs, and the beautiful underwater exploration. You just can’t find anything wrong with that masterpiece, and MHW is thankfully today’s MHTri. :) Surely it doesn’t have a soundtrack as big as MHTri’s, but it’s still just as masterful and carries the soul of the series just as well as MHTri did it! The series was taken back to it’s roots, indeed!
