Even though Laurits didn't show any signs of being another mythical being like his brother, he really gave me the feel of Loki - tricky, flirty and sly, like to tease Magne but always ready to stand by his side, etc. I'm looking forward for ss2 Edit: See a lot of ppl assumed Laurits was Loki because he's Magne's brother. Uhm... no? Loki is not Thor's brother?! It's just Marvel's thing??! I think of Laurits as Loki because of his characteristics, not Magne.
Laurits is probably like Magne before he was awoken by the seeress? Like he has it within, but he's probably not aware. Magne had strong tor-like qualities, but he only realized it after he was awoken
Be interesting if he’s actually his half brother, because mom talks about having a crush on the jutul dad. Maybe they left town due to that pregnancy. So he fits the character of Loki even more then.
The brotherly relationship still seemed kind of shady to me like at any point he could turn against Magne so maybe they just left that open as a possibility for the future.
Something I've noticed about this cast, which may be a reflection of norwegians is how... lovely they are about each other. I mean, norwegian people have a reputation of being "cold" but I think it's more about them liking their space. But when they talk about people they care about they talk with feelings. They don't just say "oh, this person is awesome".
@@sorrowdusk5068 I love that. coming from a different culture where we make friends very easily and quickly, I've always been told it's hard to make friends in scandinavian places. and it may be true for some, but I'm glad to hear that once you have a connection, the connection is deep and meaningful :D
@@IneAinn Absolutely, but if you ever meet a Scandinavian remember this: We used to have something called "janteloven" which were a set of social rules(they're getting more and more phased out over time but it's still deep in our cultures), I won't say everything but basically: "don't think you're anything special, ego is a biiiiig no go with us, regardless of income, where you're from, any sense of ego is the biggest "crime" you can commit socially.
I'm really loving these behind the scenes videos, I'm hoping all this publicity means they plan to renew the show, netflix rarely puts this much effort into promoting a show if they're planning to cancel it

Ragnarok really is one of Netflix's special gems. Absolutely love the scenery in it and makes me want to visit Norway one day. Really looking forward to season 2!
I really loved isolde. I was really looking forward to her and magnes storyline. But nonetheless i still loved the show. I hope netflix doesn't crap on it like other shows. The cast is perfect. Im also really interested in iman's story. She's really eye-catching.
I just finished watching this show a few days ago. Like I binged the whole series in about five days. And the shit Laurits pulled off on the entire first season (especially the Ran impersonation in S1E6!) gave me MAJOR Loki vibes even before I knew he was gonna be Loki. Like, flawless. I even dare say I like Laurits' Loki more than MCU's Loki! Awesome show. Hoping for a season 3!
Just finished the 3rd season and I am impressed with the strong message this season sent that many would not expect. Great job from the producers, actors and all members of the production team!
I enjoy it guys so much. In the end I really thought that Laurits is going to let Magne go through the hard time without putting a fight, but he didn't let me down. And is really Loki. 😉
Ragnarok 2 : Using Dark Series Theme almost maked this Series already a attractive one but with addition of Superpower and a good storyline this Series are going to Super-Awesome 💯

I love Norwegian people I just finished watching If you have not seen Lilly hammer watch it there are 2 characters in here, crazy how I’m 39 years old and feel and overwhelming connection to those people
Though Lauritis/Loki😉 is small in stature, he DEFINITELY belongs to the “GIANT” tribe. I’m thinking maybe he was a left behind runt or something🤷🏽♀️ He resonates with them in every scene. I hope it all comes out in Season 2......HURRY UP!!!!!
I’m on the second episode and I’m thinking magne and his brother are bigs as well. And their dad was killed by the principals husband and mayber her too
@@oceaneyingoff Yep, here it is hated for the cringy dollar-store Percy Jackson writing and setting, how much they screwed up the mythology, history and even location. There are many other reasons, but these are the main ones.
Emilio Hidalgo that’s bad... It’s probably not the best mythology related show of all time but it’s great and have so much potential.. I hope that this doesn’t affect to much their decision for an other season

Laurits is Loki if y'all wondering well I just spoiled it because everyone will guess he is LOKI when he tricked Magne about their mom being sick. But I bet everyone who came here already watch the series, Magne and Laurits had the same age and they are not twins. Then guess who is Odin and Frigg? I really think its the 2 old people at the beginning. Oooof frick I can't wait for season 2,
If you guys want to watch another Norwegian show with Herman, David and Theresa there is a show called SKAM its very good. You all will love it and won't regret watching it :) Enjoy! There is another show called 'Eagles' it's also very good. I believe it's more Swedish though but still very good writing, and enjoyable to watch. Also some scenes are aesthetically pleasing,
I would like to know what song is playing when Laurits and Fjor are at the school party, and at that moment Laurits says: "What the hell is this song?". Meanwhile, the song continues to play until the scene in which Fjor invites Gry to dance.
