Always enjoying a visit to Iconic Auctioneers Sales , the Spring sale was no exception. Against the backdrop of a pretty tough economic climate here in the UK , I was interested to see how the market is doing .
Some great bikes to view including two very special Ducati MotoGP bikes, an Aston Martin Brough AMB 001 PRO and one of the earliest Kawasaki Z1 .
With 170 bikes up for auction clearly, I couldn't cover them all! I chose a few that interested me and hopefully, interest others as well.

Love your rambles through these auction, your knowledge always amazes me. I did love the 750 Honda, my kind of bike my kind of nostalgia.

😂 I do a fair bit of research to check that my memory isn’t playing tricks with me but am fairly familiar with the bikes that interest me . The first 750 Honda was certainly a “game changer”

Cracking video as always Michael! Always nice to see footage of these auctions and the bikes you choose to show are always excellent choices. I'd be happy watching an hour of this! I think I was born 30 years too late as I much prefer the look and feel of bikes of the previous generation over my own. Learning about some of these classics is great fun so I always enjoy these videos. I currently own a z900rs but I hope to add a classic to my garage one day. Cheers

Thank you Michael! It could be the uncertainty of tomorrow has tightened the purse strings for some. I will find out soon if that is the case locally as I offer one of my ZRXs today.

The Harry’s Garage of Motorcycles ! Great watch As a diehard Kawa fan looking for a retro I know you have both but what’s best value ? ZRX 1200R - 8K ish mid 2000’s 900 Yellowball - 13K ish new Cheers

Don’t hold a candle to Harry but thank you ! Glad you enjoyed it 👍 Tough call on the ZRX and RS … a new bike always has that first hit of depreciation as you ride off the forecourt so in pure monetary terms the cost of ownership might be less on the ZRX , unless you buy a low mileage yellowball and let them take the hit ? Riding wise I love them both . The torque of the ZRX v the lighter , more agile and more sophisticated RS ? Pick the one that makes you happiest ? 🤔
