He not only did his job, but relished in it. In doing so, he made it entertaining for the rest of us. He'd make a great Simsons character because he's truly a character.

@Davey Badman It is called a news network that reports on other issues in the world and not just how "great " Trump is. Besides with CNN they do not have to keep running stories to do damage control on what Trump says.

Spearheaded by the ruling Committee of Union and Progress, which means the young turks did the genocide. which means the allies aided in genocide in ww1; which may prove armenia was betrayed by their allies. so world war one in the middle east would have genocide in it, then as time goes on people complain and report it, then ww2 a similar style event may have took place to conduct a cover up. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_African_campaign (a part of the old ottoman empire) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_East_Theatre_of_World_War_II places england in the former ottoman empire Re·gi·na - (in the UK) the reigning queen (used following a name or in the titles of lawsuits, e.g., Regina v. Jones, the Crown versus Jones). remember that REGINA spelled backwards is "a niger".
0:28 I love how he starts out slow and easy and then the sentence just keeps on going and going and going. He's so incredibly articulate, I wish I had half of this man's vocabulary.
@@chrisjmirvine4980 well exactly, parliament is there specifically not to be the executive but to hold the government to account and prevent the rise of a dictator!
@@antoniomonteiro3188 I am expected to see many Democrats turn Republican after ACTUALLY hearing Biden and Sanders speak for the first time NOT from their assigned seat in eyesight where the sound is shitty and the viewing is way off and the experience is uncomfortable.
To think that a man with such strong command of english; well-spoken with many colourful words, will mostly be remembered for one word - ORRRDAAA!!! Thanks for the memories John Bercow and for making watching Brexit tolerable.
Bercow is an absolute legend. Did he always make the right choices as an MP? No.. did he sometimes say things he shouldn't have as MP, probably.. but as Speaker, he's the best and most entertaining the UK has had in ages. To my understanding as Speaker he has championed equality, judging by the way colleagues spoke of him yesterday and that's admirable in that role
drew clark Yes, it was nice to hear that he promoted all people to have an equal voice. It’s sad to see him go. He did his job well and he did it with humor.
@@stellashepherd844 I agree. I'm a Canadian, and we have a similar Parliamentary system here but it's never as entertaining as it is in the UK with Bercow as Speaker. I've learned a little bit about British politics over the last year or two because of the enjoyment I had in watching Bercow, so I think that's a real win and I appreciate him for making me interested in the subject. It makes me interested in our own Parliamentary system here in Canada as well, and that's important. I just wish Bercow would come be Speaker over here for a while, yeah I know it doesn't work that way lol
Mitch McConnell may be out of a job in the near future. Would the Honorable Mr. Bercow be intrested in a change? We need a man with his skills here in the U.S.
@@shinlin7273 ok, give me some of that factual reality. And just to be clear, you need to give real facts, like you said, so don't tell me that economy was shit before 2016, that's insulting.

The gentleman seems unlikely to lose his head literally or figuratively. Alas that we do not have a similar functionary in the US Senate: a speaker who speaks with great regularity and impartiality.
We'll never have a speaker as good as him again. He stood up to government and for the rights of backbenchers. He might have been a conservative MP but that didn't stop him standing up to a conservative government. What they didn't like was that he was impartial and didn't side with them on everything. That's why they've forced him into going.
"impartial"?!? Explain his wearing a tie that said "bollocks to Brexit". While you're at it: justify his going to Brussels as The Speaker to ask them not to grant an extension to Article 50. The little shit was blatantly biased.
Much like we remember other great politicians of the past, future generations will remember John Bercow. He's one of the greatest politicians of our time. He did his job incredibly well and I was sad to see him leave that position.
“OOOOOOOOOOORDAH! The Right Honorable Gentleman has put forward the proposition that the show-runners of Game of Thrones, Benioff and Weiss, should be burned at the stake as Witches and Dark Apostates of Hell. Do I hear a second on that?” “YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!” “The motion is carried!” 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
HE CAN'T LEAVE! America has just discovered him! I was hoping that our elected officials would take on his tone! You know,, the sad thing is, Parliament was always seen as an example of the best minds getting into the fray and arguing for the best outcomes. Now, as with American politics, tea party pigs have infected the rhetoric with the lowest human impulses.
@@Syclone0044 nah, it was another video of him doing his parliamentary duties. when it got out of hand, he just kept yelling out "ORDAAAA" I'm sure he did it quite a few times, but I didn't know it was an actual thing of his
During the 2009 expenses scandal, it was revealed that Bercow changed the designation of his second home on more than one occasion meaning that he avoided paying capital gains tax on the sale of two properties. It was revealed in 2014 that the House of Commons authorities had destroyed all evidence of MPs expenses claims prior to 2010. Bercow faced accusations that he had presided over the biggest cover-up of the expenses scandal ever by deleting all files ( accidentally ). In July 2015, Bercow was again criticised for the amount of his expenses, including a claim of £172 for a 0.7 mile chauffeur-driven journey. Andy Silvester, campaign director at the TaxPayers' Alliance, said: "This is an obscene waste of money and shows appalling judgment from whoever made the arrangements."
it's ironic because he attempted to refute his bias in the interview but saying "Junior" definitely invokes bias.....lol. So I guess he only requires help from Senior Ministers. Hypocritical bitch.
People tend to like the speaker because they have a go at both sides, but political neutrality means you can't do anything. Same reason people like the queen. If you don't have an opinion, nobody can disagree with you.
