@@jansnauwaert1785 Found the chess elitist. Shut up, you're probably U1400, you have no business calling Agadmator a "lousy chess player". He was a huge part of the chess renaissance here on the internet and he deserves all the praise he gets and more.
@georgebrantley776
@georgebrantley776 2 года назад
@@jansnauwaert1785 Skill in playing chess is near orthogonal to skill in presenting chess. He has a script (or at least a skeleton or some sort) planned out ahead of time, he has analysis done ahead of time with all the key points ready, and he communicates these things in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. He is the quintessential analysis presenter. It's fine if you don't like pure analysis--since you prefer Levy it's pretty clear you want more commentary. But at least be balanced in your review of Agadmator for what it is, rather than what you want it to be.

Hikaru initially drew me to the chess community. But Levy is why I stayed over the past 6 months. He is a down to Earth human-being, humorous, and frankly a challenge to others pushing run-of-the-mill videos in the chess community. He addresses it from a level of depth that the beginner player can quickly pick up on and reference, due to a high-level of rapport and people skills. And I always catch myself grinning at his brand of exaggerated and recurring comedic themes (even occasionally a "hahahaha", etc.) Love ya man, thanks for helping me get through the past year, I went back to college! I only wished I would have been here and taking chess up sooner.

Levy when Kramnik plays h4: Great move creating a good lock in the position Levy if his sub did the same move: *"WHAT KIND OF DEGENERATE HUMAN BEING DECIDES TO PLAY H5 WHEN HIS DARK SQUARE BISHOP ISN'T DEVELOPED"*

Hey Levy, love the content! I was wondering If you had recommendations for beginner-intermediate level chess books for deep study?

Kramnik's such an underrated player. He'll never make anyone's top 10 of all list (probably not even his own), but this was just perfect matchplay

His peak was short and he never excelled in tournament chess for too long in a row, but his best games are super beautiful and I would argue he's the kind of player whose ideas in the best games are deeper and more profound than their achievements in competitive play.

He was never dominating because there was always anand and topalov who was always fighting for the number 1 spot against him, unlike carlsen, kasparov, fischer ect who all were clearly dominating

Top 10 is possible in some lists for Kramnik, but he's underrated for sure. Very talented player.
