The lack of regulation on this stuff is horrible. There's a podcast about the perspectives of people who are donor conceived, their discovery of dozens, sometimes hundreds of half siblings all over, sometimes worryingly close to them, lack of medical record access, etc. I recommend "You Look Like Me" for those interested in this content.

No-one of these people in the documentary qualifies to be a good parent but they are worried about who's the donor. They ALL fell for him for the superficial reasons. Blond curly hair, perfect skin and blue eyes is all they saw. Super shallow. With what values are these people going to raise their children? I feel sorry for children that are brought into this world for wrong reasons. No-one truly thinks of them and if their desire to have a child is truly doing good to the child.

Oh, what a shocker, that *NO ONE* could have foreseen this happening. Of course, some man's ego was going to get a thrill out of doing this and donating his sperm all over the place. The anonymity of sperm donation holds with it a lot of risk for these children on so many levels.

I watched the documentary ..nothing but the consequences of what the women wanted ,,They chose to have babies from a stranger on the internet ..The internet mind you and they picked the guy because he looked like a somewhat version of Fabio .. (not a normal guy mind you ) But a Fabio .. And one of them even slept with him to do it ..And they got what they wanted ..their babies ..and then they got all hot and bothered because they found out this guy lied to them ..Imagine that ? A complete stranger on the internet lying to you !...And found out he used his sperm to father hundreds of other kids and that didnt make their kids special .. So they set out to destroy this horrible tyrant of man because they chose to let him be father of their kids because they didnt take the time to investigate this guys background and did it because he was a pretty boy ...And now their the victims ...Yeah right ,,,Life is all about choices and these women and couples got what they wanted ,,some even did it again for another child mind you ..and now they all want to play the victim cards like most of society today chooses to do ..and want you to feel sorry for them ..Sorry ..You made your choice ..you got what you wanted and the only victims in this documentary is the hundreds of children who have to live with ignorant parents who parade themselves in front of the camera for clout and will one day have to explain to the child they did something stupid to conceive them .. They are putting the fault on him, and even though we could argue that what he did was wrong, at the end of the day they made the mistake of choosing him since they wanted to be in contact with the donor throughout the childhood. Bad people in the world will always exist, however in this case they had pretty much full controll. They wanted to chose by hand the best gene for their kids, which is totally reasonable, but that comes with a cost. They didnt choose the first guy because he was "ugly" but quickly choose the good looking guy with a dream lifestyle on paper. Thats should've been a red flag from the beginning. I personally think that they its their fault at the end of the day and blamming is a wrong move, even though its kinda fcked up LOL. Thats like buying a used car in perfect condition and later on being mad because you found out it had different parts inside of it. Its morally wrong the seller does it but he just wants to sell. Thats the risk you know you take
