Jim Tilley don‘t think IG will become regular if the series; a director like Waititi just hasn‘t the time to voice him over a whole season

@@michelmorio8026 He wouldn't need to. He is a droid. He could do all the parts in one session and then split it up and dub into each episode. With only 8 episodes a season. he would only have to do a dozen lines at most.

@@jimtilley1158 That particular 'look' IG gave Cara Dune on the ship was sort of odd...the camera was on him in response to what was said. Does or could it indicate IG-11 still has some remnants of his older programming?

Jim Tilley I think it is CLEAR now, that IG will NOT be a regular in season 2 😂😉 BUT there is still the possibility of another IG surfacing one time in the future...

martinisrael7 you can‘t compare those two... these flying beasts were in the dark like the „Long Night“ episode... perhaps mostly to save money, so we hardly see them! the CGI of the GoT dragons in daylight was just phenomenal for TV production, compare it to Smaug from the Hobbit trilogy 🙈

I don’t believe those were Krayt Dragons, as far as I know they’re way bigger and only lives on Tatooine. We see big skeleton out in the desert at the beginning of A New Hope. But these smaller flying ones might be related to the Krayt Dragons in some way? 😊

The Man in Black Krayt Dragons are named Dragons, but are like worms with squamation and sharp teeth crawling through desert and dunes... and Sonny is right, they are on Tattooine and we see one skeleton in Episode IV

While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, I don’t believe the flashbacks are from the purge. There are Separatist droids and gunships attacking the village. Plus, it isn’t Mandalore in those flashbacks (I think) - because we know he was a foundling, so he was “adopted” by the Mandalorians afterwards. The purge most likely happened in the time between the Rebels animated series and the original trilogy, so the age of the Mando wouldn’t match up to the events, if the flashbacks were from the purge. As I alluded to, we don’t know the whole story yet though, but I am sure they’ll tell/show us the exact reason why he hates droids, other than the fact droids attacked his village and presumably killed his parents. If this isn't the kind of direction Disney Star Wars are heading to, I don't know where the fuck they are going to. The Mandalorian had to carrying the entire fandom on his own, especially after The Rise of Skywalker.

Wil Rodriguez don‘t know if the Republic will play much of a role... she is mainly de-militarized after defeating the empire... only local systems have small parts of their military out of a small Republican fleet with mostly patrolling duty... which is why the first order had such an easy job in Episode VII

@@michelmorio8026 I would agree, but this series seems set right after the Empire's fall and the New Republic is still dealing with renegade Moffs like Gideon. Also, in the Prisoner, the military response to the tracking beacon was quick and devastating. Later the First Order may have risen when the New Republic fell back to old ways but, in this time period, many Rebellion vets( like Cara Dune) still have their Imperial hate on so crushing a Moff would give them much satisfaction. In fact, since this series seems to have a Rebels look to it, I believe Captain Herra Syndula would love to stomp on Moff Gideon.

Wil Rodriguez so I was right considering the New Republic 😎 Just believe me, at this point in the NEW timeline, pretty much everything of the empire that didn’t capitulate (out of now Gideon) and formally join the Republic is hiding in the unknown regions to built the First Order (or now Last Order🤔 this Order shit confuses me, especially when now Palpatine was somehow in charge of all... Star Wars and it‘s retcon 😂, a never ending story)
