@@Exel3nce Who is comparing it to modern houses?? This holds true for any structure with little to no internal lighting. You are not going to be able to make out his face while you're in the sunlight and he is in the shadows of the room, the dilation of your pupils wouldn't allow it.

@@Exel3nce He isn't sitting outside of the window, he is backed up just enough to be in the shadows. Which is why there wouldn't be the necessary light needed to make out his facial features. He is a foot or two from being where they could see him, but not in his present spot.

In the old comics the place he comes from mandalor. The mandalorian have a rule not to take of the helmet were anyone but you can see. If you take of the helmet with in sight of someone than your not considered a mandalorian.

I loved this episode. After some action packed episodes, it was good to show another side of Mando. I like both female guest stars. Unlike some geeks, I like to see some women in good roles. Nice pacing, but the idyllic music when the villagers were introduced, by Ludwig Goransson, was a little too melancholy. I like when he writes more 'ostinato' type pieces, i.e. repetitive, like the chimes at the very end of the end credits. The village music seemed sad, dreamy, and melancholy.

The entire set up of the episode was essentially 7 Samurai. With Star Wars in general being inspired by/based on The Hidden Fortress(a New Hope specifically) and influenced by Kurosawa's filmography, Favreau wanted to bring those influences back, which is why the series has these sort of Hidden Fortress, Yojimbo, 7 Samurai set ups. To be honest, even if Favreau didn't flat out said that, the entire concept of the show is basically a rip-off of the Lone Wolf and Cub film series. (By the way, The Magnificent 7 was a terrible rip-off of 7 Samurai).

Solo is underrated, imo...It obviously didn’t do as well at the box office as they wanted, but considering all the behind the scenes turmoil going on with it, it actually turned out pretty decent, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It’s a shame a lot of people skipped it because of all that crap... if you never watched it, you should. But hey, that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻

Nandrall 18-25 I think it would be awesome if they actually turned Solo into a Disney+ series. I think it would really benefit from being able to have longer story arcs through multiple seasons. Problem is getting a lot of the bigger actors to return and sign up for a series as opposed to a single film. I’d be down for it if they could get it to work though. But with the success of the Mandalorian, and hopefully the upcoming Obi Wan series (and MCU series), more of the bigger actors will want in on a Disney+ show. At least, that’s what my hopeful side would like to believe...

Seems like a common complaint is the episodes are too short and I agree with that sentiment but I understand why it that was done. Disney was making the most expensive series to date so they worked within their budget. If we had 1hr episodes it would have probable cost $30M-$40M per episode, which is a pretty steep cost.
