The ending of this episode honestly surprised me in a way that I never thought it could. From day one, I thought Paz only wanted to reclaim the glory of his house, that he had no real honor; then to go on and to see him change into a true warrior and follow Din purely out of honor and duty. His sacrifice to save everybody else hit me in the feels. I honestly didn’t realize that I liked that character until he died.
@@USxEGames I agree. but this is very early into the total amount of seasons as Theory reiterated as something that Jon Favreau stated. But given the track record of disney’s work when it comes to star wars. I do agree. We’ll just have to wait and see.
@@DutchTheHooligan For sure, I just felt let down by how little they had me invested in the early portion of the season, now I'm super hyped that Gideon is back, felt Paz's sacrifice, but we only have one episode left. I've always said what this season needed wasnt a massive climactic event to happen each episode, but enough of a bread crumb trail there to keep you invested(outside of tuning in just cause we're star wars fans) Also that HvV comparison is too spot on lol
Given Ahoka is next in line, the season is going to end with either Thrawn's flagship/fleet jumping in most likely above Mandalore or Nevarro (if the Manadlorian fleet manages to flee to safety) or someone reporting news that it's on the way & the finale ends with a hyperspace shot of the ships. Perhaps even a distinct possibility he comes back in style & heads straight for Coruscant.
I also like how the joysticks on IG-12 are little metal balls that look just like the ball that Grogu would play with from Din’s ship. Just something cool that I noticed in this great episode!
Paz is the type who'd rather die in battle with honor than run away. I give this EP a 9/10 there's some "coulda shoulda woulda" situations but , it's all for the show. Can't wait for Thrawn!
@@wasdwazd The big guy always understands that he is physically stronger than most of his friends and or allies. It's the old uncle ben saying. "With great power comes great responsibility." Paz is a true Mandalorian
@@wasdwazd it’s so stupid. He had an entire son that djin saved earlier in the season. That alone allowed for the big guy to befriend mando yet he didn’t think for one second about his son when sacrificing himself against the troops.
I thought it was suspicious that The Armorer would take the "survivors" to the fleet. If anyone were to go to the Great Forge, The Armorer would be the top of the list. Then seeing Gideon having horns on his helmet made me think even more that she was working with him. But if she was a spy for Gideon, he shouldn't have needed to hear from the imperial that Din and Bo were working together
Or the survivors are actually working for Moff as spies. That would make more sense since they have lived on the planet and there is no way they wouldn't know Gideon was on the planet.
I think if the pirates were working for giddion and the armorer was the spy then she just Trojan horsed the flag ship of the mandalorian fleet with all those “injured” warriors. Can’t wait for next week
@@stormtempest7555 yeh it does sound like the spies may be working for moff cause they only just showed up not to mention they wasnt there when din first stepped foots on mandalore funny how they show up now
It did say The Spies plural and not every pawn could be in play or be feeding information they may be waiting for something and they could be also saboteurs and doing a wing guard flank jump 😂
@@l750z_6 He's dead, it was perfect example of heroic death. He owned everyone in the room so epicly before the praetorians shown up. They felt like worthy opponents. He's dead for sure.
@@l750z_6 nope, wishful thinking... I just watched the scene like 5 times, you can hear his last breath when he falls on his face, but not in the last shot anymore. The whole scene would make no sense if it wasn't moment of heroic death of beloved character.
I just noticed something. The lights around the Shadow Council divide the two Imperial Remnants. One one side is the Imperial Remnants that are true Imperial, and on the other are the ones building the First Order.
@@cptsteele91 I didn't really see First Order (though it makes sense since they came from Hux the 1st), I more saw a fusion of Mandalorian and Stormtrooper. I say that since I believe they wanted to show that while they may look "Mandalorian", they're really only Stormtroopers with better armor.
Yes hux maybe more for the new empire or first order , Gideon is more interested in clone troopers and maybe force sensitive ones and Thrawn is the old loyal empire.
@Jedileader 01 I see what you're saying for sure, for me they brought FO troops to mind because of how they're generally bulkier than regular stormtroopers armour, as well as the smoother aesthetic and shape of the eyes, I think they're a really cool design regardless.
@@jedileader0174 Really felt like they drove that home with the way the mandalorians take them down EASY. You could really see the way that the mandalorians were life-long warriors fighting mere pretenders who were wearing their armor.
@@l750z_6 Gideon requested them, they are trained guards and successors of the Royal Guards from the original trilogy. They are also present in the new trilogy guarding Snoke. They are not excactly specific people more like a special unit of the empire where they train in melee based combat
The Armorer definitely has some Maul/Gideon connections and I think that’s one of the most interesting points in this whole series. It especially makes sense why she would - on a dime - say, “Hey, Bo, it’s totally chill for you to remove your helmet now, go get everyone else”… and then lead them all to Gideon.
Beskar armor can only been forged by few as its a closely guarded secret on how to make it, who else can forge all that armor the imperials were wearing just a thought
@@jackykwan3241 its just a guess not you bit alot of people will bomb my notifications if i say wrong i think she was expecting casualties not forpaz ro stay behind prob didnt expect that and din probaly a deal for his dna but not death if shes a traitor but she is deathwatch or was so ?
I actually had a slight smile when I saw the praetorian guards. They look so much more cooler than the sequels and actually are good fighters, contra how they were in the sequels. Good episode!
You know, when this episode said "Spies," it doesn't necessarily mean the spies are FOR Moff Gideon. Now that I think about it, it would be PERFECTLY within Thrawn's character for him to have spies working under Gideon and elsewhere. Perhaps the spy/spies are actually THRAWN'S.
Everyone assumes the title spies meant they spy for Gideon but it might not be the case as you said. it might also be spies in both sides as we all know. I dont think the episode made it clear to whom the title refer to as it should. J.
This was the best episode in the season, but we really should have been at this point a solid 2-3 episodes earlier. I do love the idea of the next generation of Dark Troopers equipped with Beskar armor. Grogu breaking up the fight between Paz and Axe was a nice moment, shows that Grogu is maturing and cares for the people that have taken him in. Paz Vizsla's sacrifice was emotional, but a bit unneeded, he could have hit the button and rolled under the door before it closed. But if there was anyway for Paz to go out, this was it. Fighting to his last breath, taking as many enemies with him as possible. Would have liked to see him kill 1 of the Praetorian Guards though.
I agree with your other points here, but I don't view Paz Vizsla's sacrifice as unnecessary. If he had closed the door and rolled under it, there's nothing to stop the imperials from simply hitting the button and opening the door again since the controls are on their side. You could argue he could've shot the controls to seal the door before rolling under, but I don't think he would've had enough time for that considering he's a pretty big guy and not very nimble with all his heavy gear.
@@XeriousIV I disagree. The entire situation was not that dire and considering literally everyone else was able to make it through just fine, Vizsla could've done the same. It was most definitely a useless death and I'm pretty annoyed with it honestly
@@XeriousIV good point, if he wouldve hit the button then rolled under they wouldve just opened it again in like 5 seconds, i loved his character but it was a respectable sacrifice in my opinion.
I feel like it makes sense he didn't kill any guards and I kinda like how it was a pretty one-sided fight. He's been worn down from a bunch of shots from the beskar troopers, plus his gattling gun overheated. And while they're no Royal Guards, the Prartorians are very strong and well-versed. Plus it's not like Paz went entirely out without a fight, he got some blocks in ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I really found the meeting of the Imperial Warlords very interesting. I also found it rather telling that only Hux and Pellaeon wore proper imperial Uniforms.
I'll give my 3 cents here: The armorer (Rook Kast probably) will be revealed as the spy within the mandalorians, which will make all the Children of the Watch take their helmets off and forget their extemism. This will not only reveal her identity but will also allow Pascal to keep his role as Din Djarin, as he will finally become a normal mandalorian that takes off his helmet at it should be.
You mean to tell me you're oblivious to the fact that Bo and Din have clearly grown attached to one another. That relationship is building between them and the fact that Grogu has started to see Bo as a mother figure. As the same way he views Din as his father. Bo also has shown concern when it comes to grogus saftey and talks to him like a mother would. The pep talk in episode 3, the little moment she had on the ship with grogu in episode 6 and now in episode 7 Grogu sitting in her lap.
To Me it shows Bo embracing the Old ways of Protecting and Guiding the Foundlings ... this is their culture to be a Parent Figure for a Foundling and to Show them the way of Mandalore .... \ It doesn't mean that they are Going to be together romantically ... that said It isn't out of the question ... .there could be something Forming there .. plenty of signs of that ... however we shouldn't confuse her Relationship with Grogu as direct line to their relationship ... her embrace of the old ways is largely impart to seeing Din's Passion for it ... She Highly Respects Din and Grogu definitely senses a chemistry between them ... maybe even knows that Bo is Low key Crushing on Din .....
Greef is the informant. He’s relaying information to the girl on Coruscant, hence why she knows the pirates failed and that both tribes worked together. Him giving him the bottle from Coruscant is foreshadowing
well hes been captured so someone has to save him i'd say hes been sidelined hard and they will probably torture him and take his helmet off for fun since he don't like it he'll probably be tortured so much he never puts helmit on again or the other way round never takes it off for life
It's no longer his show. In the first season Grogu barely knows Din and saves him from the mudhorn. In this episode he's does nothing, just meh, I got Bo now.
I just hope that we see a scene where thrawn reveals that he always knew that gideon will fall due to the mandalorians. That would at least suit his character in my opinion. I guess we will see
@@kf8113 i guess the mando’s history of being one of the most successful warriors could be a possible line of reasoning, as well as their 🪄art🪄. Possibly adding gideon’s obsession with creating the best possible being out of himself, which leads to a certain arrogance and dismissiveness into the mix. Would be a nice touch to see that thrawn was the mastermind who lead to gideon being blindsided by his own failures
Gideon wearing Mandalorian style armour is very symbolic. He is essentially making a statement that he is the successor of Mandalore. Such a great villain.
Season 1 was the same way. I remember everyone saying how the story was going nowhere and then BAM the last two episodes hit and gave us the main story.
@@117MasterSpartaneven if Grogu stepped in, There was still more reinforcements coming in and it’s literally an entire base containing an army. He’s not luke Skywalker by any means. I would actually be more mad at the fact that Bo couldn’t cut through the door with the dark saber somehow…

Definitely the best episode this season by far just a shame it's nearly the end of the season. Well the saying goes good things come to those who wait this episode definitely delivered 😀
It took me a bit to realize, these Pretorian guards are the ones that fought Ezra on Thrawn's Star Destroyer during the finally of Rebels. Its the reason Paleon had to okay their use because the were assigned directly to Thrawn by Palpatine. Most likely they will only follow Thrawn''s orders.
An absolutely incredible episode for all of the show. Really love how they're starting to piece together the pieces of the OT lore going into the sequels while making this in between time so badass.
I think they're actually from the Nevarro covert, my theory is that when the imperials came and had them on the ropes, those that could get away did but the ones who stayed behind were given the same choice Bo was (hence her telling that story it fills us in on what happened but also shows us how Gideon operates) and the Armorer accepted to give the ones who escaped a chance to survive, hell it may even have been the terms of their surrender, so Gideon inserted the Nevarro survivors with the Mandalore survivors and left the Armorer in the wild to pretty much group up the Mandos. The Armorer could know through Gideon that Din removed his helmet so sent him to Mandalore to confirm what Gideon no doubt told her about the planet still being inhabitable, with that knowledge and Bo having arrived as an ally the Armorer then sent Bo to unite the clans, but of course despite spying for Gideon she isn't loyal to him, so didn't inform him of that part. If her and the Mandos she took to the fleet do try to overtake it then they'll likely try and fight Gideon straight away or she'll be aware of the imminent attack and have them escape trapping Bo and crew on Mandalore, but may still return with reinforcements.
@Christopher Thomson I know he told her, but I suspect she may have asked him because she already knew in that instance or at least suspected, I could well be totally wrong on that one of course.
I'd honestly be shocked if we didn't get a glimpse of Thrawn next week. It fits into the story and it's the perfect tease for his return in only 4 months. This was an incredible episode, and I think my only low-key disappointment was not having Rae Sloane finally make her on-screen debut in the Shadow Council.
imagine if Grogu stayed with Luke. and we finally see him reunite with Din in Daves movie. what a moment after a few years of build that would have been.
Disagree because you typically need a pay off for the audience in the show the audience is watching, not everyone is a hard core SW fan that is going to watch The Mandalorian + a movie to get their final pay-off.
Given how uneven and inessential last week’s chapter felt, we needed this episode. And fortunately, it was terrific! Certainly the best of Season 3 thus far, and among the best of the series as a whole. I don’t know what designs Gideon has on subverting Thrawn’s authority, but it’s not going to go well for him. And woe upon poor Din Djarin, captured and in need of rescue for the 3rd time this season, if you count his deep dive into the Living Waters. I haven’t wanted to believe that the Armorer could be one of Gideon’s spies. But the signs are pointing to her more and more. NOW, I’m psyched for the season finale once again. Let’s hope they stick the landing after this episode.
I honestly think the Armorer has horns because of some tradition but Moff Gideon has them because he thought they looked menacing. As wrong as the Armorer has been at times, even she realized that the Mandalorian factions need to come together and finally defeat their common enemy. Axe Woves, and the three Mandalorians they meet on the surface are the most suspect. Why would the writers have Paz beat the crap out of Axe for no reason and then give him such a heroic end? Also why did Axe leave right before they were ambushed? Questions that will hopefully be answered in 40 minutes somehow.
Yeah I bet someone from the Owls will be the suspect or one of the survivors. I see people on here saying the Armorer is the spy but it would make literally zero sense for her to betray the creed of which she has followed since birth
@@therisenwizard8594 I dont think it was ever mentioned that she followed it since birth. That would probably not actually work because she would have been born during death watch days. Them being on Concordia makes me think that her faction split off probably after Bo and the Nite owls, but before the Empire fully rolled in. She could even be one of the mauldalorians from clone wars season 7
@@Darth_K_K The Armoror definitely adopted older Mandalorian traditions and history after Death Watch disbanded, or while she was part of it, she definitely helped in the creation of the more traditional group. The Children of the Watch are actually pretty similar to the True Mandalorians from legends because they both came from savage groups but aligned themselves with old honorable traditions. The main difference is the True Mandalorians were far less superstitious and they were allowed to remove their helmets and armor. (Just backing you up on a few points)
I think Gideon was trying to make clone body parts spliced with grogu's midichlorians in order to give himself organ transplants with the new force sensitive organs so that he can use the force. Since ol' doctor guy said he specializes in organ cloning
This is the Mandalorian that I have been waiting for all season! This episode was fan-freaking-tastic!! I loved the plot twist of Moff Gideon’s base being located beneath the surface of mandalore and that whole end sequence was just great! This is Star Wars, I can’t wait for the finale!
@@lumilight4242 dude, back again for more insults! Just because I like the prequels and don’t think that Star Wars is a patriarchal universe, my view is “f*****”?! Your messed up man… Glad we can finally agree on something at least…
Yeah, it’s too bad the Armorer says they’re not allowed to make Beskar weapons. Legends had some awesome ones. The Beskad and Bes’bev were my favorite. Beskad is a short sword meant to counter lightsabers. The Bes’bev was a flute with a shiv at the end because “Mandalorians don’t take well to critics.” It was insidious too since the hollowed core would allow for excessive bleeding even if the weapon was left in the wound.
I’ve recently been reading the Heir to the Empire series, and it’s amazing! It was so cool to have the connectivity in this episode of the Mandalorian! It was really cool to see Moff Gideon and the shadow council discussing Thrawn, as well as to see Captain Pilleon!! While this season has been slow, this episode really hit home! I can’t wait for the finale!

So so glad this episode was so good. After last week of was getting concerned 😅really enjoyed it. Fast moving and lots of potential for the rest of the season
When you survive Breaking Bad, you live long enough to become a Mandalorian! Love that Charles Baker was a Mandalorian Survivor that stayed on Mandalore! I hope we see more of him in future episodes. I loved that there was Survivors all along scavenging the lands, I hope they aren't spies or betrayers! There could possibly be other Mandalorian Surviving Clans elsewhere on the planet, vying for Leadership once they find out Bo has taken over completely. This season has felt very Game Of Thrones the North, the way the Mandalorians are secluded to others but are very loyal as a whole and are starting to build back up. Could get like GOT with Clans siding with different Clans for certain leadership, once they get rid of Gideon. I feel like the Armorer use to be a Mauldalorian but went back to the way of True Mandalorian, I feel like the Mandalorians are starting to come together, and Paz was very loyal to the Armorer I would be shocked if she allowed him to go on the scout mission just to die knowing what was coming. Loved Paz and his death hit hard for me cause he was my favorite Mandalorian, but his son Ragnar is actually a Teenage Mando hence why Paz told him to "take the kids" away from the Mandalorian Confrontation. Hope we see Ragnar grow throughout the rest of the series and fights against Thrawn in the war, for his Family name the Vizsla Clan. Still hoping Din and Bo share Mandalore Leadership. Still holding out hope for Tristan Wren, Opal Jexx, Fenn Rau, Moss Mero, Korkie Kryze and more prominent Mandalorians now that Paz is dead.
I think that the armorer is definitely suspicious because of how many times the camera panned to her heading to the ship. It gave me a very eerie feeling like I knew something was gonna happen. Maybe she’s gonna try to take over the ship with the other pirate “sick” Mandalorians and Axe will arrive to ask for help. That’s when she’ll turn one tribe against the next.
Here's my biggest problem with the season: Mando (Din Djarin) has no story. He has no arc. After he was redeemed, he started following Bo around and supporting her cause. That's it. In fact, there was no reason for Moff Gideon to capture him in this episode. He should have just killed him.
Honestly thought Moth Gideon was definitely going to execute him in front of everyone to set an an example the whole situation played out just like that..instead he captures him but Din seems like just a side character this season..and lord knows what they are going to do to him if he’s not rescued in time
I think he is taking Mando prisoner as either some sort of prisoner trophy cause he was such a thorn, or because he’s been such a thorn Gideon is taking him to be a cloning base for the Mandalorian side of his thing. I do agree though, but I’m still enjoying the story.
@@weed3728 That's exactly what Gideon would have done in that situation: he would have removed Din's helmet and shot him in the head in front of Grogu and Bo to send a message. If the story were written logically. But he was captured for no other reason than him being "the main character". It's poor writing.
I think it was a Viking ship, not a pirate ship. Also, I don’t think anyone caught that somehow Gideon knew Bo had the darksaber, despite him losing it to Din. Someone had to tell him
Yes, this was the best episode of Season 3! When you said in the video that the Mandalorians are one of the toughest species in the galaxy, I thought - Space Spartans :) I have a theory about Armorer's helmet, may be it has horns, in similarity to mandalorians' forge, which has nozzles pointing up. Have a great one, can't wait for the final episode!
More as a self appointed king and over ruler of mandalore and mandorians more as a show of dominance kinda thing and symbolic value rather than a link to maul and that I think
very legends and ancient Mandalorian vibes it even made me kind of like the idea of the empire converting to the first order, which is something I always hated but after seeing the pretorian guards I'm hooked on them.

The praetorian guards had mixed armor. Their chest piece was also from first order stormtroopers. And the wrist guards normal stormtrooper gauntlets. It’s really cool to see the evolution of the different armors
Was pretty dope till the sequel stuff starting popping up. I’ve been praying that it wouldn’t and somehow they’d retcon it with the world between worlds or something.
@@thechominator43 God I hope so lol. I lost all hope after the sequels, now that they’ve been doing well with these shows I’d just hate to see everything they’re doing lead up to that.
@@admiralfishface8750 You guys need to get over yourselves. They’re not gonna retcon the sequels. Everything in the “MandoVerse” is going to bridge the OT to the ST. I know you guys don’t **want** it to happen, but of course it’s **going** to happen. They’re gonna try to use these shows to give the ST the “Clone Wars” treatment-filling in the gaps and basically making things more cohesive. I don’t like the sequels, just like nearly everyone here. But I am sooo tired of everyone constantly saying they should be discarded. They exist. Unfortunately. But as Theory himself said recently, they gave us what they gave us. It is what it is. All we can hope for now is that they can add in enough lore and story and world-building to make them at least marginally better.
@@Wertys There is literally no saving those films. They aren't like the Prequels, the Prequels have redeeming qualities. The Sequels? Practically none. All the characters suck. All the action sucks. All the world building sucks. All the writing completely, and utterly, sucks. The Sequels and Prequels aren't comparable at all. The Prequels gave us so many great pieces of SW media like TCW. The Sequels have given us nothing good. The Prequels aren't perfect by any means and have very poor writing, but they have definitive strong points and excel at certain things. Sequels don't do any of that.
One thing I noticed is that it seemed that Palleon and Hux gave eachother looks and seemed to be understanding of eachother. They seem to be leaders amongst the council and don’t seem to be short sighted fools. The others we saw were prideful, greedy, and worthful. But these two seemed to see the bigger picture, they’re looking long term.
When they all dropped out the ship and first touched down on mandalore I got mad halo reach vibes. Paz went out like George did too, giving up himself for the greater good. Anyways this episode was 🔥🔥
The Armorer working with Gideon makes sense after this episode. I wondered why she wouldn’t have gone with the group that located the Great Forge when that’s what she cares about most. Well, if she knew it was an ambush, that would explain it.
I def wondered how the destitute pirate Mandos couldn’t have bumped into the base before, especially when they said they’d take them to the forge. I also was waiting for Grogu to go run off and tame that beast to ride in and save the day…or something …other than be adorable (still) and hilarious (more than ever!)
Damn this episode was good, episode 2 has finally been topped. It also gave us some answers to things we’d been wondering for the whole show. Seeing so many Mandalorians was awesome and finally Giancarlo Esposito again. Mando and Bo are great characters.
I wonder if grogu was even supposed to be in this season when they wrote it, and if he was still supposed to be with Luke right now but Disney wanted him in it. Like you said he just kinda seems to be there and doesn't do anything besides in ep 2 this season. Would explain why they brought him back in boba so they would for sure get his views in Mando
he wasn’t supposed to. the mandalorian was supposed to be a movie, instead they used the idea for season 1. he was supposed to go with luke that’s why the rest is a different vibe
No, he wasn't, he's supposed to be with Luke. I read there was meddling behind the scenes to reunite them for marketing and merch which is why it was shoehorned into Boba Fett. Din and Grogu were going to reunite later but it would be a much wider arc later and this season was to be focused on Mandalore.
Dude I was freaking out during this episode, especially seeing Moff Gideon's return, and his armor, specifically the helmet looking exactly like the Maul Mandalorian helmet. And honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Thrawn is the final boss for Mando
Just finished the unabridged audio books of the Thrawn Trilogy, sooo good! And as soon as I saw that old Imperial on the holo, I was hoping it would be Captain Pellaeon! Was stoked when he was addressed as such, didn't realize he was in Rebels.
Kinda wierd how the Armorer always maintained that Mandalore was poisoned, I have a hunch to believe that Captain Phasma is her child and that she built the armor for Moff Gideon
So many great elements in this! First- REALLY hoping Thrawn becomes a part of mando and he isn’t just being mentioned to tee up Ashoka (but naturally, that’s probably the case). Beyond that, I finally feel like Bo might cool her jets for a bit and realize it’s a team effort, I feel like we’re going to see some maul element emerge, and I absolutely shit my pants to see them run around the corner and see the walls slowly turn more and more imperial. SUCH a good way to reveal all of that.
I have a theory or speculation that Din and Gideon will have their Round 2 for the Dark Saber. While Grogu will be the one to locate and tame the Mythosaur since I guess him taming the rancor from BoBF is a foreshadow
Explains how / why the Tie Bombers and Interceptors were at Mandalore and chased Din & Bo in the previous episode. I have a feeling Boba will make an appearance in final episode to help Din. Alira and Axe are the spies, maybe even the armourer seeing as similar helmets but she waited until Bo got a much bigger tribe of Mandos together to be wiped out
I think that grogu stopping the fight could be foreshadowing a leadership position within the mandalorians. I would love if the series ended with grogu having been THE mandalorian and subduing the mithosaur through his force beast control ability. I also think that his force sensitivity and jedi training would make him a perfect darksaber weilder. His long life would mean he could guide the mandalorians for centuries to come, while keeping the peace and stopping the infighting.
This was certainly a step up from the tedious episode from last week. Lots of good action, some good humor, seeing Pelleon again was really awesome as I thought he perished in Rebels. It's a really good episode, and I hope the finale next week will bring this season to a good close.
While I get why a lot of people think the armorer is the spy, I have 3 strong reasons why it doesn’t really make sense that it would be her. 1. Would the other mandalorians, especially Bokatan, not be extremely suspicious of her because of her horned helmet. 2. Moth Gideon was surprised when Elia Kane told him that the mandalorians were reuniting to retake mandalor. If the armorer was a spy, then Moth Gideon would already know this and not be surprised. 3. Why would Gideon want the mandalorians reunited to completely annihilate them, when it would be a lot easier for them to kill the tribes separately, or to just let them die off naturally? As Bokatan said, “our own division makes us weak”, so why would the armorer want mandalorians to be United if she was working for Moth Gideon? Thoughts on this?
Yeah there was always something very suspicious about her, I still believe she is Rook Kast and fought under Maul. Also I find it odd that it was her that left Bo Katan and the rest almost as if she knew something was gonna happen?
She also got Bo to rally up as many mandalorians as she could to "retake mandalore" essentially getting all them mandalorians and that huge fleet all in one place ready for a surprise attack to wipe them out
This episode was fun to watch, more entertaining than the last episode, which was...something else 😅😅 Though the only thing I liked about last episode was when Din mentioned Kuiil's name, which hit me pretty hard with emotions, probably harder than Will Smith's hand 😢😭I swear, Ugnaughts are the dwarves of Star Wars and I love it! hope to see more of them in the future! Oh and the new Beskar Troopers, along with Gideon's new drip was cool to see! I wonder if there were any Mando blacksmith survivors who aided him in building the new armour 🤔
I think it's no coincidence that both Axe and the Armorer were able to escape the planet before being attacked or captured by Moff and the imperial troopers. I'm thinking both are "Spies" (for Moff) as the title of the episode says.
I wondering if Eli Vanto from the Thrawn comics and the Chiss ascendency will show up. For those who don’t know who Eli Vanto is, he was Thrawns translator, assistant and protege during the early days of the empire.
Wes Chatham is rummored to be playing "Thrawn's right hand" in the ahsoka series, and I hope that it's Eli, I love that man (just look up "wes chatham star wars" on google :) )
Axe is the spy. There is a reason why the Owls weren't hunted down, Gideon escaped, and the scouting party walked straight into an apparent ambush. They are setting up Bo to take the Mando title because Pedro Pascal wants to do other things. Grogu will return to Luke because he cannot get down with "the way" entirely without touching the dark side. Thrawn will show up in a future episode and destroy Gideon because he lacks vision (blinded by his own ambition) and tactics to absorb his forces. It was nice to see daddy Hux. He was an absolute terror when he was in control of his forces.
It’d make sense if the Armorer turned out to be working with Gideon in some way. She’s been very prominent this season, and she was the one to suggest uniting all Mandalorians in order to put them all in one place for Moff Gideon, just as he said.
