Din dies but Grogu becomes so powerful and so wise he brings him back to life then Luke shows up and kills him in his sleep. Ironic, Grogu could save others from death but not himself
Now that it’s confirmed that Hayden Christensen is coming back to Star Wars, I’m really hoping that he’ll appear as a force ghost to Ahsoka sometime in Season 3. Man, it’d hit right in the feel. Starts with something like “Hey Snips”.
They’re not going to kill Ashoka, they know that most of the mandalorian audience isn’t familiar with clone wars and ahsoka, the the audience doesn’t have enough of a connection to the character for a death to make sense
Really enjoyed the stream. My theory is that Gideon is a former Royal Guard to Palpatine or a close aide and is the only one who knows he is still alive hence why he is after Grogu to continue the plan to clone a body for Palps with the improved longevity. That is why he sees how Grogu understands what the darksaber is and could possibly reveal plan stated in TROS
@@NicolasOvalleNick Thrawn would arrive and kill Gideon claiming that the Emperor failed and should not be resurrected as Thrawn would see that Palps empire was flawed. He could easily make the "out with the old and in with the new" argument.
Well, Filoni said something about her story not being completely linear. She could be 87 years old when we see her. Or she could be 45ish. The world between worlds creates interesting possibilities.
@@masonharris9166 ik this is an old conversation, but Ahsoka's race also live to be around 150 usually so 87 wouldn't really make her an old woman at that point.
@mysticstrider no I think he meant that if Disney confirms bobas series being before the events of the mandolorian then he could die during this season and just tell his story of how he got to this point
Woah what if Bossk makes a return this episode, and later on down the line (assuming the Fett show isn't a prequel) we see Boba and Bossk teaming together to do some badassery, "just like the old days"
yes thats what i was thinking since mayfeld is gone and they ask boba yo know anyone to help and he says yep and bossk is that person, i whould love that
Typed this in before watching: 1. The protag/seemingly protag that most likely is gonna die would be Fennec Shand 2. I think Greef Karga is gonna die or throw them under the bus. 3. Cal Kestis or a new force-user would be most likely to be of help in the final scene or would have an introductory scene before the episode ends
You can tell that despite pushing this "I like what I like and you like what you like and we can all get along forever after" thing he feels super salty and snarky about people liking the sequels....
@@erikbrenner5138 well he's perfectly allowed to feel a certain way about something, as long as he's not straight up telling people to stfu, there's literally no problem with it
He acts like a cranky old man in these streams. The fake ass yawning of the last stream...it's a bit disrespectful to Josh. I've been watching him since 100k subs but the past few months he's definitely changed.
@@rjphilla I've kind of noticed this. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of SWT but any time Josh brings up something that Theory doesn't like Theory seems to shut down and it kills the conversation and makes the viewing experience awkward. I know he doesn't like the sequels, but he's a star wars channel so he at least should be able to talk about them without getting in grump. And hey, I'll give theory the benefit of the doubt. You never know what someone is going though in their personal life.
Idk of you guys see this but you guys make life easier for me during these tough times. I feel suicidal sometimes, crying, stressing, not eating... i love you guys
What if: -Obi-Wan never found Kamino -Jango Fett survived -Grievous survived -Obi-Wan said yes to join Dooku -Luke’s saber called to Finn instead -Obi-Wan told Luke the truth instead of being from a certain point of view -Only half of the clones got the order 66 message -The clones don’t show up in time during the battle of Geonosis
What if Din dies and Boba takes up the mantle to keep his word and continue the search for Grogu! Maybe they didn’t mention the Boba series because he’s the mandalorian for season 3! 🤯🥺
After the fact so not a spoiler, but Rest in Peace is the song for the Razor Crest after it's blown up in chapter 14 (s2 ep6), it's not part of the finale. Prolific simply means a high volume of work. So in the case of an actor, it just means they act in alot of things.
Calling it. The track that you mention "Rest In Peace" is just a red herring, and no one important is going to die. It's just the music that will play after Baby Yoda unleashes a force storm to save Mando/Boba/Fennic Shand/Cara Dune after they come rescue him, and he falls asleep afterwards. Rest in peace doesn't necessarily mean someone died, could just be Baby Yoda's sleepy time music! (also, I haven't heard the track, but if it's particularly ominous sounding, that just means Baby Yoda used the dark side to save his peeps, but it is still his sleepy time music and it will be adorable)
I don't think Boba will die mainly because he *just* came back. It would literally be a repeat of the OT where Fett is seen a handful of times, has some dialogue and action sequences, and then dies like ten minutes in to the finale. I do like the idea of him going rogue tho
Always wondered what happened with Cody after Revenge of the Sith. I thought Rex and Cody were going to mirror Obi-wan and Anakin and have a throw down.
This may seem like a wild guess, but I think Luke Skywalker will show up in the end. I think he will be the one to respond to Grogu's force call. And then Theory will cry... :)
I really think the likely thing to happen is what you guys mentioned, which is that the call is answered in the middle of the episode's big battle and Luke or whoever shows up to help, being able to sense where Grogu is and what he is feeling since he undoubtedly has a connection to whoever "caught his signal." Definitely betting on an unexpected cameo of some sort when we're too distracted to predict it.
idk if anyone commented on this yet so i just wanted to take this spot to say you’re my favorite youtuber and i was wondering what you think would happen if boba and luke met again
This is by far the best RU-vid channel Star Wars theory just makes me think so many theories you really have opened my perception of Star Wars and made me rewatch the movies looking for Easter eggs so thank you for everything this is the way
And here is my second theory... I believe the kenobi series will focus on the connection between kenobi, maul, and Vader. So not a lot of people saw rebels and this is why I think the opportunity to bring back maul in a live action format would be nuts. Now if they do this then I definitely believe that they bring his “Solo” version to the show. Basically one story’s about maul living as a crime lord still trying to look for kenobi and still remembering the past (his brother, Ashoka, kenobi humiliating him). Another story is anakin hunting down remaining Jedi as Vader but the interesting thing would be having anakin still retain some of his innocence. Like he gets assigned to hunt down Jedi but has a part of him not want to kill. And this will be padme. She’ll show up as his “Tyler Durden” and try and sway him to another path. And all this time they’ll be flashbacks to previous scenes of anakin and obi one being friends (even a scene of them back in episode 2 fighting that monster that anakin described in the elevator) and anakin just struggling on his path. And this will ultimately come full circle with anakin going full dark side, turning his back on padme, maul finding where obi one is using intel from that “solo chick”, and obi one fighting maul for one last time. Part crime and regret story (maul), part story of depression and isolation (kenobi), and part torn identity (anakin). All these characters will also share some of the same scenes of them having nightmares or something about their past that frightens them, really emphasizing how this whole story, is connected. Also maul as Sam witwer... that would be kickass...
A very interesting concept for multiple reasons. 1. It was Mace’s arrogance that resulted in the destruction of so much, so he has a lot to atone for. 2. Mace killed Jango, so there’s drama between the two. 3. Mace was very antagonistic towards Ahsoka especially toward the end, so there’s another point of drama between the characters. 4. He’s a really cool character, and what we’ve learned, is that even the lamest characters who seemingly fall to death, re-emerge to become amazing characters later on.
Grogu saving Greef Carga from death was a huge turning point for both Greef as a character, and show show in general. Baby Yoda gave a lot of energy saving him, so I’m scared that Greef Carga will be the one who dies while saving Grogu.
Please be honest. Who do you believe should be the true ruler of Mandalor? Bo-Katan or Boba Fett? I really want to see Boba wielding the Darksaber and be the ruler of Mandalor. My reason is because he started the whole Mandalorian serious just from his armor alone in Star Wars episode 5. Jango Fett also said that Boba would be the one to complete Jaster’s legacy and restore Mandalore. In Star Wars legends Boba does go on to be the true leader of Mandalor fulfilling both his father’s and Jaster’s legacy. To me the story would be complete with Boba Fett wielding Mandalor as the true leader with the Darksaber completing the journey were it all started. Like how Iron man finished the Marvel Cinematic’s. He started it all and ended it all. Remember Bo-Katan wielded the Darksaber at one point but she no longer has it. She has her chance to be a leader and that was her chance. Some say Boba doesn’t want to be a leader and I say look at John Conor.
Alright so I have a couple of theories... So my theory is that Gideon will be replaced by the end of the season (dead or trapped or something like that). Obvious I know, but here we go down the rabbit hole. It will be revealed that thrawn will be behind everything. Thrawn’s plan is to find the emperor force user’s to to integrate with his clone bodies (like the whole snoke thing). Ashoka warns mando about grogu having some sort of dark path alternative, as this might be why they want the child so badly. Grogu will potentially have incredibly insane force abilities that are unmatched to any Jedi (at least in that timeline since most are relatively weak or tired from the fighting or well... dead of course.) So grogu might have the potential just like Rey (since no one taught her dark side shit) to have really crazy dark side powers as well. So thrawn has all these generals, including Gideon, from all over the galaxy (since he’s now the main leading force of the empire) to hunt the child and extract the m count and force abilities from his body into the clone bodies. Just like that CEO of Disney said “all the shows are connected to one another, in the same universe”. So the Ashoka series will be hunting down thrawn with the help of bo katan, mando season 3 will be helping grogu find the proper training and MAYBE a way back to his own race, the rebel show could tie in with conflicts against remaining forces of the empire (maybe a final space battle against thrawn’s force, fleet v fleet 🤞). But it’s gonna be Ashoka first, then mando, then rebellion officer show timeline wise. And it’s gonna be all for goal of protecting the kid, and bringing down the sinister plot to resurrect the emperor. And well... the next thing might depress you guys a bit. I’m guessing the end of this timeline, most of the characters we meet, except for people like bo katan will die. So mando, Ashoka, all of mando’s buddies, and even thrawn will die, but the empire will still get the child regardless, kicking off the process of resurrecting the emperor. Then the child dies as the emperor has a new body to control and his goal of rebuilding the empire as the first order begins. Tying in with the new trilogy. We already know Ashoka does not survive the new trilogy because of her force ghost being in ep 9, so my orange gal is going to bite the dust eventually. Either being natural causes or a huge fight (maybe the final battle in the rebellion show😯🙀) but who knows, I’m just guessing all this right now. That would be a dark ending but man... I’d actually be weirdly satisfied with that. It just sounds super crazy but if they pull it off it could be an infinity war moment.
I think the Rest In Peace is for moff Gideon. Thrawn shows up and either kills him or ahsoka or din with his spear kills him to get grogu. Could be like an ironic and sarcastic “rest in peace”
Boba turns on them, steals the saber, becomes the ruler! Next few seasons focus on the different clans, who are all battling for control. One clan could be Bo's, one could be Din with the clan from season 1 + his friends, and the last could be Boba and pheraps he has a clan of retired clones?
What if Din Djarin dies, and Boba becomes a Mandalorian, which still allows the title of the show to makes sense, and it becomes the "Boba Fett" show from season 3 and on. That would make sense with the song titled RIP, adds a lot of GoT shock value, while the plot story continues.
I think we'll get BOTH Cal Kestis AND Luke Skywalker. Cal will show up for the final battle, and after the good guys win, he'll take Grogu with him, back to Luke, where he's been training Cal since he never got to finish his training before order 66. Season 3 shows us Cal and Grogu being trained together by Luke. Imagine?
What if Gideon beats mando and takes the staff handing it off to someone and says “give this to phasma” And maybe even in season 3 we get a much younger phasma hunting mando
So the voices you heard in TROS the actors were in fact in costumes during production and was in fact going to have a small scene however it was cut during the final cut of film which was in fact true as it was confirmed on IMDB but I read on reddit that JJ didn't know that key scene was cut till se watched the movie during the premiere red carpet and when he came out he was upset and it wasnt just that scene but others as well. Apparently this was a heavy rumor that disney authorized Kathleen Kennedy to cut that scene and some others that maybe vital key scenes because they learned at last minute during editing of the film that JJ had a agreed to a 2 movie contract with Warner Bros one for superman and the other Green Lantern and again disney didn't know till last minute . For those who don't know Disney And Warner are the biggest competitors and Rival companies for a long time.
@@TroySavary I still think Mace didn’t die. He didn’t show up in the Mandalorian but I think there’s a possibility he’s the one the saved Grogu. It would be great to see him again!
@@chantalbarralis2988 He's dead. Get over it. Windu was dead as soon as Palpatine stopped playing vulnerable and hit him with his full strength lightning.
They'll probably kill Cara Dune, or what if Mayfield shows up and dies? Maybe Fennec. They will choose someone "insignificant" or make Boba have a huge heroic sacrifice. Ahsoka dying won't happen for two reasons: 1) It might deflate any excitement for her own upcoming show. 2) Filoni has already said that Ahsoka survives and is alive even in The Rise of Skywalker speaking through the force as a living person.
Ahsoka’s story isn’t finished. Need to find Ezra. Need to find out what the Ahsoka the white is about. What’s up with Mortis and the daughter/morai? She has her own show coming up and, besides Grogu, is the most popular newer Star Wars character. They might kill her off after all her stories are finished in whatever the Rebels Sequel series is, but even then Filoni has hinted that she’s still alive in TROS.
I have a theory... what if Taika's movie is about the dawn of the jedi and they are also doing the high republic which we know are on complete opposite sides of the old republic so maybe they are gonna do something before the high republic after they finish it and something after the dawn of the jedi until they eventually meet in the middle with revans story, the story everyone wants to see.
If the Mandolorian is to be a stand alone show then i don’t think anyone introduced in recent episodes will die, as there wouldn’t be much character building
Enough with the "I have personally heard" or "rumor has it, possible spoiler stuff" we don't wanna hear that stuff, like to go in fresh like theory said. Great podcast as usual 👍
What if Din defeats/kills Gideon and claims the dark saber for Grogu .. Bo would hate that and could essentially be the big bad guy next season in a Mando civil war
What you have to remember is that this show is a gateway to star wars for a lot of people - they may not have seen much star wars at all. So to throw in Thrawns and Ezras wouldn't do much at all for them. Luke is so iconic that it still would be worthwhile
I highly doubt Ahsoka is going to die on The Mandalorian. My guess is the end of Rebels happens after her episode on Mando. She’s searching for info on Thrawn, and gets that from Elsbeth. She then heads off to meet Sabine and they begin their quest to get Thrawn and find Ezra. And that’s her show. Or at least that’s what I personally want. 😁
I believe you are forgetting about the oath Boba gave Din. "To make sure the child was safe" the Grogu Puppet cost like 1.5 mil so I don't think killing him is on the table but I think Mace will be the jedi a lot of history w/Mace and Boba it kind of makes for epic P.S. love the cast
@@timothyyyhaywood1475 I doubt it. No reason for it. It was only there to setup the other spinoff shows. This show is always going to be about Mandalorians, what it means to be Mandalorian, and will probably culminate with a new darksaber wielder and a new Mandalore.
There seems to be a preconceived notion that Thrawn will be an Empire loyalist type... In the new canon he's established as being loyal to the Chiss above everything and essentially trying to gain Empire resources for the fight against the Grysk (to aid the Chiss). So what is his motivation to be the "big bad" in this context? To gain control over the resources of the known galaxy? What does Grogu have to do with that? ... So... I don't know... But let's see. The excitement is really starting to peak now...
did anyone else whilst watch revenge of the sith, notice that when yoda and the emperor were fighting with force power, that the emperor was going to win but then yoda, who was seen to be losing turns round and look at the emperor with an evil, almost dark side look, and ends up taking the upper hand in the force battle, however the force generated is so powerful it blows both of them backwards, yoda falling.. guys, do you think yoda tapped in to the dark side to stand a chance against sidious?
I will tell you who doesn't determine if something is Canon or not... an empty suit like KK who doesn't have a creative bone in her body. When an artist creates something it is Canon. When that artist dies or stops creating the content and hands it off from that point on the IP enters the public domain and the fans ultimately will determine if future creations are Canon.
I’m always watching your videos Theory keep up the good work can’t wait for tomorrow’s finale of the Mando been a fan of Star Wars since I was 11 or 12
