I have followed & loved this group forever. Such great vocals, sparkling personalities & enormous style. I was first introduced to their unforgetable music, years ago,at a concert in New Zealand & have remained a big fan ever since. I remember playing 'Chanson d'armore' over loud speakers at my friends rose garden wedding reception, perfectly timed as the couple entered. 🎶 It was magic & everyone loved it!

Love---------LOVE-----TMT ! From that 1st album in late '74, early '75, I was a total fan, often dreaming about being a 5th voice with them. i grew up in the music of the 40's & the 50's, Big Bands, & the vocal groups ! TMT was different, but yet totally distinctive. There just wasn't anyone else like them, & I loved it. Still do, always will. -------MJL< 76 y/o Now.

Their fans are loyal because they are exceptional singers individually and as a group and the musicianship they apply to their work produces artistry that we are excited to listen to in whatever the style of their new album is to be. We know it will be authentic, creative and the gold standard of craftsmanship and artistry in all the musical elements, so stimulating fun.

If there is a legacy in American culture, then this is Manhattan Transfer! Along with Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. They should have a monument erected during their lifetime!

One of the best dynamic and talented vocal groups ever! Their rendition of Claude Thornhill's Snowfall is timeless!!

While listening to their very first record I was a musician playing progrock. So it wasn´t my style, so to speak. But I instantly realized their extraordinary musicianship back in the day and since then I followed them.

I love this group. I think their most important contribution to music is how they managed to keep the art of jazz vocal groups alive, a wonderful tribute to the groups that came before, like The Hi-Lows.

RIP Tim Hauser. I love this group so much and its individual members right the way up to their final concert . What they are saying about the American Idol phenomenon back in 2005 or whatever it is called in different countries around the world is right. Even more so now with singers being chosen for their looks , not voice , musicality , interpretive skills. I worked well in the classical music world , but even there where an advanced skill set is needed to simply get around the notes, there are now performers being marketed heavily on image. We don't always see the best singers and players rise to the top. That is sad. Thank goodness for the longterm high standards of groups like Manhattan Transfer.
