Things have to change. The first year of Covid my husband was cut back to 3 day work week for almost a year. It hit just 3 months after we bought a new home. It wrecked our financial plans. It was still the right time to buy the house because the interest rate now is insane. But at 62 and 66 years old, we have to catch up from that hit to be able to have a comfortable retirement. Still from what we hear from others we are fortunate.
