Doesn't matter what anyone does with any movie, tv or stage adaptation of The Addams Family so long people can imagine that portrayal of Morticia and Gomez to this song.

Those two will always be one of my favorite fiction couples. They got a love that few can or would ever really understand but that don't bother them none because they got each other, the life they've built together and that's all they need.

Brilliant cover, the only thing that could possibly make it more fitting for the image would be to have the vocals switch between yours and a male voice, as if Gomez and morticia were switching who was the dom and sub.

I learned to sing to Tom Lehrer's original performance of this song, with Daria Cohen doing doodles of her "animated children" Duke and Missi for a V-day videot in 2021. But I love the sultry cover you did; I always see Gomez as the focus Addams Family AMVs with this song, and I know that contrary to most relationships in the 60s and 70s when Charles Addams created them, Morticia wears the metaphorical and literal pants of their marriage. I think it's a shame that more women don't sing song as it is Horatian satire of tango dance stories, and intense ballroom dancing in general. I love intelligent satire and syncopated songs like this.
