THE MASSACRE AT NAZARICK TOMB!!! | Overlord Season 3 Episode 7 Reaction 

Hello friend, I hope you are well. What an episode! From the start you know that things will not work out very well because from the beginning the characters say many lines that the Japanese consider "Flags of death": If someone says it, that person will die. In Overlord they are a bit more subtle, but in the Anime, you know that the guy who says "After this battle I will confess my love to the girl I love..." is surely a dead man. From the beginning the Workers invade the tomb because they have been hired for the exploration, instead the Adventurers are only there to ensure the round trip, as well as protect the camp. That's why Ainz and some are waiting outside. At first everything goes well for them as they search the chapels around the perimeter, but everything changes when they enter the Great Tomb. The first horde of weak Skeletons is bait to lure intruders, who don't know they are entering Shalltear Bloodfallen's domain, which is filled with powerful Undead and teleportation traps that separate the groups. Meanwhile, Ainz retreats to her tent, which is conveniently quite far from the rest of the adventurers, who believe that Momon does this because he doesn't want them to hear the sounds while he makes love to Nabe, but in reality, it helps him to be able to unnoticed. Parpatra, the old adventurer, who is more experienced than anyone, suggests staying behind to look for other entrances in a prudent attempt not to be the first to enter, but ends up falling into the Pleiades' trap. Meanwhile the Workers inside began to suffer from endless waves of increasingly powerful undead, sapping their strength. And finally, the last straw came when they suddenly encountered seven Elder Liches, who don't get tired at all and need high-level holy magic to defeat them. Exhausted and without their priest having enough level to hurt them, they have no choice but to go desperately and thus end up falling into a Teleportation Trap that has the objective of separating them. Two of them end up in the Black Capsule, which is on the second floor and is the private domain of Kyouhukou (The Duke of Terror), nothing less than a 30 cm cockroach with druidic powers and a specialist in summoning an endless number of small killer familiars. Despite his appearance, he is one of the most reasonable and pleasant inhabitants within Nazarick, although unfortunately all the female guardians hate him, except for Entoma, who occasionally comes in for a "snack". The roaches eat the leader Gringham and his companion, but they actually had the best fate, because the third member of their group ended up as a toy for Neuronist. She is a special intelligence investigator in charge of torturing prisoners. Though her race is androgynous, Neuronist declared herself to be a Big sister and wears a black leather outfit akin to a Dominatrix. Neuronist is the Area Guardian of the underground portion of the Frozen Prison on the 5th Floor of Nazarick, in the domain of Cocytus. She takes delight in her job and inflicting pain on others, especially since her favorite food is brains. Is very talkative, casually conversing with her victims whilst she prepares her tools. Is also quite vain; she considers herself more attractive than both Shalltear and Albedo. The small torture tool based on the idea of Kidney Stones (which plagued her creator), well... That will enter through that unfortunate guy's penis hole. The most satisfying part of this chapter was the fate of Erya, the man from the Slane Theocracy. Originally the Elves and the Theocracy had a good relationship, but one day the Elf King kidnapped and raped the most important person in the Theocracy, and since then both countries are at war, to the point where it has been declared legal in the Theocracy and the Empire have the elves as slaves. But it doesn't matter if the cause of that war is fair or unfair, because Erya make himself hate for his arrogant and despotic personality. The Hekeran group Worker Himina instinctively despise Erya because she is half-elf and it pains her to see her relatives enslaved to her in such a brutal way. And this cocky finds his deserved end at the hands of Hamsuke, who after much training with the Lizardmen has finally developed a Martial Arts skill. As for the Slave Elves, since they did not enter Nazarick of their own free will, Ains ordered them to live with Aura and Mare, in an attempt for them to teach the twins a little about elf life in the New World. From then on, they dedicated themselves to caring for the twins with great affection, as if they were royalty. But those Elves are the only ones who get a happy ending. Because the last group of Workers have been teleported on the fourth floor and in the post credits scene, we see that they are going to face Ainz himself. The reason for this is as follows: After many experiments, Ainz discovered that he can't get stronger than a level 100 necromancer no matter how hard he tries, so he decided to look for new ways to get stronger and one of them was to train as a warrior with Cocytus, to see if he can do it. Ainz asked them if it was worth it. Ainz even bribed them at the entrance to just turn back. But they didnt. Fun Fact: Mononga's guild actually became famous in the game for having the best defence play in the game's history. They defeated somewhere around 1500 players of different guilds in one raid. Because of this incredible achievement, the game developers awarded Momonga's guild with the dungeon of Nazarick, converted into a guild base that spawn monsters, along with the ability to make special NPCs as "guardians". These later turned into our floor guardians and other NPCs like the maids. You can actually see parts of that fight in the very first episode of Overlord. "Kyohukou" pretty much means "King of Fear". That's why the roach was dressed with a crown and cape. That small metal tool Neuronist was waving around goes inside the peepee hole. What's scary is it's actually considered as a real sex toy 😂 That "chain" around Ainz's neck is an item that boost exp.

Kyouhukou is actually voiced by the same voice actor as Levi. "Hiroshi Kamiya" Also famous for "Law" in one piece and many other characters. it's fun that he has this random side character in this show.

"In Nazarick Death is a blessing" you'll see what those words mean in this and the next episode, hang on to your chair. Now you get to see what the Eight Fingers went through, eaten from the inside, healed and repeated. Back in season 1 episode 5 Albedo is telling Ains about the information they got from the magic casters they fought in episode 4, now you know how they got the info, enter Neuronist and I do mean enter, brrr....

The collar around Ains'es neck is an xp boost item, but it weakens the wearer while its worn.

You keep asking why they keep messing with Ainz. Remember, no one knows who Ainz is. Not in a wide-scale sense. Only the Theocrasy's leading council, the Lizardmen and the populace of Cairne Village (which is tiny compared to the rest of the Kingdom), and Gazoff have even heard the name Ainz Ool Gown at this point. And this is the first time anyone from the outside world has even seen Nazarick itself. It was only discovered in the previous episode (remember in the 1st couple of episodes, Ainz had the terrain changed around the the Great Tomb so it would blend in and not be noticed). Edit: Also, the reason the elves were kicking dude's dead body is because they were his slaves. Elves in the New World are not viewed fondly by many humans (especially the Slane Theocrasy and the Empire). The Theocrasy in particular invades elven villages to capture and enslave them regularly for use internally and for sale to other states (the Empire being probably their primary customer for elf slaves). When an elf is enslaved, they are broken mentally and emotionally/spiritually, as well as having the ends of their ears cut off as a sign that they are slaves. You can actually see how the girls' ears have been cut in the close ups of them. Even the lowest of the low human peasant has it better than an elf slave (especially female elf slaves). And considering how much of an ass Erya was in general, and the fact that the novels confirm those 3 elves were part of his "harem", you can only imagine what they went through for the years they've been his slaves.

"Turn Undead" is not a spell, but a prayer through your diety that will cause the unliving to literally turn around and run away in fear of the divine magic. However! A strong enough user of this prayer or weak enough enemy will instead "Turn" the undead back to the earth, back to being dead. So it works both ways. ^^

Ainz is gonna hit those guys with some new drip, its gonna be epic. also hope your patreon is doing good!
