@@forbeswatson It was free to watch them march down Birdcage Walk to Horse Guards Parade and then up the Mall back to Wellington Barracks at the end of the parade (which is shown in this video), however the actual ceremony of Beating Retreat was a paid ticketed event which gave you a seat in the stands to watch it!
wow, the Marines know how to put on a show. I don't like to compare bands from other services because they all great in different ways but the Marines drill and marching discipline is exemplary Oh, and yet another great video as well, thank you..

I just seen policeman and woman with their backs to the crowd they are not supposed to do that they are there tostop people running out plus as their backs are turned their safety also comes into question
