Thanks for sharing! Thanks also for giving us info about home site city locations and business/shopping proximities. There are pros and cons for both homes that comes down to personal taste. Not a fan of the brink color on the first house as I prefer a lighter brick. Overall, the exterior elevation and interior of the first home works great together. I would pick that home. A vaulted ceiling in the main living area is more important than a vaulted bedroom. You want the space you (and company) spend the most time in to feel open and spacious. Thanks again from Orlando, FL...good job! Moving back there soon.
I didn’t even think about it from that perspective, but that one also has more trees behind it which is the south side, so it may end up being more shaded, so it could balance out
My question what are people doing here in Mississippi to be able to afford these homes? Looking at the job market here it don't seem like there's enough people making that kind of money to be able to afford these type homes. I drive through alot of these neighborhoods and every one of them be occupied.
There are a lot more high paying jobs here than people realize. We are the medical Hub of the state. Jackson being the capital brings in government jobs, and there are a lot of other opportunities around too. In my experience a lot of people buying in these neighborhoods are in those higher paying fields or they are retirement or pre-retirement and cashing out a lot of equity on a house they are selling.
They can’t afford them or need them. Lots of people mortgaged to the hilt and broke as a church mouse. I’m in the same little house since 1977 been paid off for 30 years. It’s still better than what I need. You don’t need to show how rich you are when you got money that’s what poor folks do.

New build prices are getting out of control. I ended up getting a similar house to the first house shown in Clinton and paid half... granted it wasn't a new build.
Location and agent do make a big difference. That’s one of the more expensive neighborhoods in one of the more expensive suburbs. How long ago did you buy the house in Clinton?
There are a few. Check out our video on The Village in Madison from a couple weeks ago. There are other more affordable options too depending on what you're looking for. Feel free to give us a call/text at 6012926070, we would love to help!
They floor a a pretty good chunk of it with Plywood or OSB. I'm not sure they were 100% done, especially on the first house, because if you look, they haven't blown the insulation in up there yet. Or do you mean they actually floor it with finished flooring like you would one of the main floors? They never do that here.
@@LivingInJackson meaning they cover the structure with plywood, so that if you ever wanted to convert it, to usable space or livable space you have adequate subfloor already.
This is absolutely ridiculous. 3700 sqft is not massive. The homes look nice and have some nice features but my goodness. >$900k for a 3700 sqft home is wild. We have a home with separate his and her bathrooms, yes you read that right. Huge master bedroom, a formal office with wood beams, incredible crown molding throughout, and 3500 sqft for $400k. Less than half of these homes. Granted it only has a 2 car garage, but for $500k less! This needs to end. Homes for younger adults is becoming unaffordable.
@@ElCidPhysics90 I agree with you that everything is getting too expensive across the board, but tell me where you are to get what you said for that price. And when did you buy it for $400k? A lot of the price here is in the finishes and the cost for a lot to build on in this location. You can definitely find cheaper houses.
@@LivingInJackson Wrights Mill in Madison. And yeah, I bought in 2019 just before Covid. But that’s my point. In 5 years prices have doubled. That’s not reasonable.
