I remember when this trailer dropped, I was in computer class watched it on the projector. We went ballistic.

What hype these movies gathered. One of the best experiences I ever had in theaters. They don’t make them like they used to.

I know the Burly Brawl doesn't really hold up by modern cgi standards, but back in 2003 it really blew my mind.

Yeah, I remember this trailer like it was yesterday. It was shown at the midnight premiere of Star Wars: Episode II. The sold-out crowd went crazy for this trailer. There was shouting, whistling, clapping and foot stomping during the trailer. I knew then that ‘Reloaded’ was going to be a box office hit despite its R rating.

God, I miss the days when you'd go to a movie and you would see things unlike anything you'd ever seen. It still happens, but exceptionally rare.

Hands down the best movie trailer I've ever seen. It's the only trailer I've ever seen where people went crazy when it was shown at the theater. People were cheering and screaming. People actually stood up and applause when it ended. Unfortunately, I don't think movie lived up to the hype. But the trailer was really something special.

I didn’t remember the movie I saw that night but I remembered seeing this trailer. I had never been more excited about a sequel in my life.

I love how certain movies reveal everything within the confines of 2-3 minutes. The matrix trailers always only made everyone feel such an infinite rush of adrenaline, and an undying absolute need to watch that movie, right now. I fucking love this movie and this trailer. It’s perfect. Also, I remember the dvd menu for this movie, was the absolute best I’ve ever seen.

The Matrix Reloaded is such a outstanding and incredible sequel on so many levels as it was just constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end. The story, performance's, music, action sequences, special effects, images, direction, and cinematography was spectacular and phenomenal. It was such a fun rollercoaster thrill ride as it kept you on the edge of your seat. You have a good time with this movie. It was decent. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old.😍💯👍😎

I remember, I was fucking 9 years old or something and wanted to see this movie so badly in the theatres, so I begged my older brother to worm my way into it.

I may be in the minority with this opinion but I’m sure glad Will Smith decided to pass on the first one.

Great movie !

The Matrix Reloaded received far too much backlash. I thought it was very good. Perhaps the sequels should have been one film and more concise. They were never going to be as good or live up to hype of the original but Reloaded was better than most give credit. Part of it's dislike is the focus on multiple philosophical exposition, which I'm all for but they slowed the pace whereas the original was a perfect balance of narrative, character development, exposition and action. They also introduced too many extra characters for the sake of it - they felt forced, unnecessary and not in tune with the first film, especially if you didn't bother with the side-quest content. Morpheus effectively becomes a side note as a consequence... I understand that they were trying something unique and bold at the time by entwining a game and anime series into the mix but this greatly affected the pace of the films. Still, they are better than people claim but not a patch on the original.
