The Mawlid Imam Refuted Himself

Very beneficial video, I used to think what is wrong with celebrating mawlid ul nabi, but you have very good understanding. We have only 2 sources the quran and sunnah and should only follow that. Why do people get agitated when you call him a Mawlid Imam? If they think Mawlid is a praise worthy action surely you won't get offended. Its like me calling "Imran" as "Da'wahman" this is what he does and promotes. If anything i'm praising him.

Mas’ûd - Allah be pleased with him - that he said: For every bid’ah with which Islâm is plotted against, Allah has a beloved worshipper (walî) who refutes and repels it and speaks about its signs, so take the full opportunity of attending such places, and trust in Allah. Ibn Waddâh, Al-Bid’ah p5. InshaAllah people continue to benefit from your channel and these videos, following true Quran and Sunnah will inevitably destroy the fallacies of the Ahlul bid'ah.

Salaam bro, ive been following this debate like a hawk funny how some are so into iplayer waiting for next episode of eastender but im out hear waiting for the videos in this debate lol. Anyways thank you for clarifying the matter about the two types of bid'ah subhanallah it makes clear sense, the way Imam Asim explained bid'ah can be deceiving to people who are in favour of mawlid and also people against it, its easy to nod and take it as he says it! What you have said is literally what i was thinking throughout the section in his video about bidah. if the sahaba ra ajma-een read taraweeh in jamah this is sunnah of the sahaba which is permissible! Weak example trying to say the sahabi started " bidah hasanah" ( actually lughawi) can they claim eid miladun nabi is sunnah, maybe nafl or if its is bidah in shareeah we know there only bad bidah in shar,'ee? Wallahi theres no comeback! Allahu Alam. I keenly await the next videos inshaAllah. Keep up your efforts and may Allah strengthen your knowledge and be pleased with you. Aameen

You made him look like a complete fool lol. In'sha'allah he will find it in his heart to own up to his mistakes and correct the paths of the people he has misguided. It might be tough for him though, he may get some serious backlash from the Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities if he admits that it is forbidden. Of course it is still better for him to tell the truth. This is really going to test his character and imaan.
